How dare you interrupt that statue unveiling segment with a commercial, MLB !!
Unbelievable that you are so out to make a buck that you can't even show minimal human respect and dignity toward others.
(All companies who pay for advertising to you should pull their ads for the rest of this year, and I ask them to do that, after they see what MLB does with that money. I'm aware that youtube has the ads, but the channel can turn ads off, and advertisers can target their ad money to certain channels. Pull your spending from MLB.)

If there are two strikes anything close fight off like Bellinger did. So many cubs watching third strike that are in the heart of the zone they have to figure something out or sell everyone because we spend all of this money on a coach that and in 2023 at this date we were 36 and 38. So we are 2 games worse with Craig C then with David Ross. Why wouldn't they spend that money on players? This team baffles me. We have such a strong fan base so many people go to the games and they won't spend the money in the right spots to be a winning team. I know there is still a lot of baseball left but it is the same for all the teams. I am going to keep watching as this is what being a cubs fan is and I was spoiled in 2015-2016 and now the Rickets are stingy like come one man.

    0 points until 6 innings.
If that's the case, you'll not never win.

    There are nine batters.
Why can't the batting line connect?

The Cubs' batters are swinging too big.
The reason for losing was their batting lineup.

What I don't understand is, if the umpires are so sure he's got an illegal substance on his glove or his hand, then why does the game just continue? Like yeah OK he's thrown out but it's 5-2 by that point... who cares.
I think when this happens, there should be 3 innings added to the game (unless there are 3 or more remaining already), and the offending team should a) lose their pitcher and b) not be allowed to replace them at all, rather replacing them with a position fielder, who also cannot be replaced. So basically, you get 8 guys rather than 9, and the pitcher has to come from the existing field.
See how many people are found with sticky substances once it means essentially a certain loss.

Money Move Essay: Mets vs. Cubs Game Highlights (6/23/24)
    Introduction
In a thrilling showdown on June 23, 2024, the New York Mets faced off against the Chicago Cubs, delivering a game that left fans on the edge of their seats. With intense gameplay, strategic moves, and electric fan engagement, this game was not only a display of athletic prowess but also a testament to the profound impact of promotional events and merchandise sales on team revenue and fan loyalty. This essay explores the highlights of the game, the effects of promotion days, and the reasons fans should invest in team merchandise to support their teams' journey to victory.
    Game Highlights
The game was a spectacle of skill and strategy. The Mets, known for their formidable pitching and batting lineup, went head-to-head with the Cubs, a team equally relentless and determined. Key moments included a jaw-dropping home run by the Mets' star player in the 7th inning and a series of remarkable defensive plays by the Cubs that kept the game close until the final inning. The nail-biting finish saw the Mets clinch a narrow victory, much to the delight of their fans. Such games not only entertain but also galvanize fanbases, reinforcing their emotional and financial investment in the teams.
    Impact of Promotion Days
Promotion days, such as themed events or giveaways, play a crucial role in drawing crowds and enhancing the game-day experience. On this particular game day, the Mets held a "Fan Appreciation Night," offering exclusive merchandise and special promotions. These events create a festive atmosphere, encourage higher attendance, and foster a sense of community among fans. By making the game experience more memorable, promotion days increase fan loyalty and engagement, leading to higher ticket sales and greater overall revenue for the teams.
The Influence of Winning on Merchandise Sales
Winning is a powerful driver of merchandise sales. When a team performs well, fans are more inclined to purchase jerseys, hats, and other branded items to show their support and affiliation. The Mets' victory over the Cubs not only boosted morale but also likely spurred a surge in merchandise sales. Fans want to be associated with success, and buying team merchandise is a tangible way to express their pride and loyalty. This surge in sales provides a financial boost to the team, enabling further investments in players, facilities, and fan experiences.
Why Fans Should Invest in Merchandise
Investing in team merchandise goes beyond simple fandom; it's a way to actively support the team's journey. When fans buy merchandise, they contribute to the team's revenue, which can be reinvested into improving the team and enhancing the game-day experience. Merchandise sales also help maintain the connection between the team and its supporters, creating a shared identity and community spirit. By purchasing and wearing team gear, fans signal their dedication and belief in the team's potential to "take it all the way."
    Conclusion
The Mets vs. Cubs game on June 23, 2024, was a reminder of the dynamic relationship between team performance, fan engagement, and financial success. Promotion days and merchandise sales are essential components of this ecosystem, enhancing the fan experience and providing crucial support for the teams. As fans, investing in merchandise is a powerful way to show support, contribute to the team's success, and celebrate the communal spirit of sports. Let us all rally behind our teams, don our jerseys, and cheer them on as they strive for victory.

To be honest, even if the mets do maks the pkayoffs they arent going to go far. They have no starting pitchets that they can really rely on but they are doing better. Hopefully they can make the playoffs and go far in the playoffs. But i just dont see it. Still rooting for them.🎉🎉

If they make it to the postseason it is a miracle. But you never know what can happen in the next half of the season.

MLB becoming like NBA where the rulebook is a complete joke. Throwing out the away team’s closer in a close game before he even throws a pitch 😂. Make more rules, MLB. It will certainly help your product! 🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡
