- I have always been told that I need to check out the Watauga, but I just never got the chance. After a quick rally back from WV to catch some rain it was in a great level. So I met up with Bernie and Toad for a lap, and it was once again, much sicker than I expected. First time is always fun, but I am looking forward to getting back on it again now that I know it. So many fun moves, boofs, kickflips, and plenty of holes. Can't wait to get it at even higher flows!
Good to see Dane does a "normal" river for once
Sick man, great water.
Love this run! Such good flows too!
Damn he's in the ZONE!
Good luck friend
Vous et super
Interesting geology here, massive boulders in tiny creeks, probably remnants of massive floods whenever the ice melted there maybe 12,000 years ago
You should try the ocoee riverine Tennessee
Do you think Dane Jackson, who is from Tennessee, has never run the Ocoee? lol
He's from Tennessee didn't know thay

Next time your in areas and watuga is that high, go run gragg prong, upper creek, or the doe.
Good to know! Definitely want to check those out!
@@danejacksonkayak upper creek is the business. It's a creek that gets little attention, but it's as good as good as toxaway or anything else and has a miniature cherry bomb. Michael Ferraro has some good videos on it.
