Multipurpose furniture like ottomans are definitely the way to go... also hiding stuff in drawers and behind doors is more aesthetically pleasing than open storage... but adding wheels to bins and small furniture also makes it easier to move in & out of closets and storage spaces

The shoe organizers can be used in a variety of ways. I currently use one for cleaning products because they get lost under the sink. I’ve seen others use them for toiletries, craft supplies, hair products, etc. There are even similar products with smaller compartments designed to store jewelry.
Finally another human who has holiday decor that needs to be stored while living in an apartment! Seems like no one talks about this. Also, don't other people have camping or outdoir supplies to store ??! Seems like a over looked topic too. Thank you

I have a room divider in my bedroom to hide storage bins containing clothes and shoes. I am going to use your cubby recommendation to get rid of the plastic bins. Great video!

I love these tips! I have a hat wall in my small Brooklyn closet. It works great and also looks stylish. I got the hooks from Ikea, they're coat hooks but they also hold hats very well.

I've been thinking about renting a storage unit from my building. I didn't wanna pay the monthly rate but now I'm considering it because my Christmas decorations takes up my entire coat closet. It would be awesome to put that stuff away and store seasonal clothes. Have you done an under the kitchen tour? 🤔
Hi. I've seen from a lot of different organizers that they tend to think "up'! do you have any roomabove eye level? Like above the door jamb? Space that is not being used on any wall that is higher up? You could put in open shelves and get those baskets and store the Christmas stuff in the basket and it would be aesthetically pleasing. you can put a plant on the same shelf and it'll look like you just have baskets and plants and it will look great. You also can get artwork and put them in frames and have them stacked leaning on the shelves but you also have the things you want to hide in baskets or those decorative boxes. I'm just trying to say it may be better to try another solution before you have to pay another rental because storage rentals can become very expensive. Best of luck my friend.
I didn’t want to pay the fee either!!! Trust meeee lol and just like you, I’m going on 7 years! Mine is 85 dollars extra a month and I had to really weight the benefits and cost analysis! It’s honestly a breath of fresh air to have some space back in my apartment.
Lol I didn’t even think about going down to mine. Plus I didn’t want to spend extra money lol! I have a fear of bugs and other things getting in my stuff from other peoples stuff which was also a hesitation for me.
