For me Cristiano Ronaldo is the absolute greatest of All time. I love and respect messi. The thing is Messi is more of a technical player but CR7 on the other hand is a clutch and one man show, he always wins big games and shine on it. CR7 has played in all top3 leauges and scored 100+ goals is all of them, won top3 leauge, adapted every type of football style. On the other hand Messi has never played in TOP1 leauge and only played in Spain for 18 years of his career and when he joined France which is top 6 leauge he flopped there. Messi is the greatest ever but CR7 I think is little better cuz he has most last min goals, most finals played, most final wins and also most final goals scored. CR7 has most hattrick in football which is 3 goals scored by one man in single game. CR7 has won 4 final against messi while messi has won only 1 major final against Ronaldo. I think CR7 is the greatest cuz He is not a one system player and dominated football for absolutely 20+ years no matter the team, playstyle or teammates

@@daveandjessdivorced yeah sports here in the US are different. Not that they’re bad, just the teams are more like companies in a way than European teams. Several Premier League teams started with a group of guys who wanted to play a bit of football. Such as Manchester United, which was started by railroad workers. Or Arsenal, started by a guy and 15 colleagues. US sports are more like a business than a passion imo. I live in the US so I’m not just blindly talking about it lol.

I'll admit, I love Draft Kings, and I only bet on NFL games, but the sports betting has really corrupted our sports. That's why i enjoy watching HS football. It's more pure. Here's the problem. If you talk to most Ronaldo fans they admit that Messi is great, but they believe that Ronaldo is also great and prefer Ronaldo. But talk to Messi fans and a lot of them don't want to acknowledge Ronaldo's talent and achievements. You will here garbage like he's not even in the top 5 or top 10. That's how afraid they are to have people acknowledge him. Ruud Gullit who is a Dutch footballer and Balon d'or winner himself back in 1987 said that he believes that Ronaldo is the greatest of all time, because he has done it at a high level in the top 3 European leagues. And to people who say he is not Gullit responded by saying Ronaldo can sit at the table with any of the all time greats and know that he belongs there..
We have experienced that. Messi fans dismiss Ronaldo fans, but it doesn't seem to be the reverse. Just from an ousiders view what you are saying has tended to be true.
