Well, railroad safety is very serious business. I don't want anyone to get hurt. One time, my Dad and I were at the Cincinnati Union Terminal, waiting for my Mom and Aunt Christine to arrive on the westbound Amtrak Cardinal, when I saw a man standing too close to the edge of the platform. I called to him to stand back behind the yellow line. The man heard me and stood well back. Then he thanked me for warning him.

4:48 Yeah but there are usually openings in the walls for you to go in if you are caught in the tunnel.

Heh, 4:09 - 4:41 is just like "Stand By Me!" Now we just need Sly Fox yelling "TRAAAAAAAAAAIN!!!"
And then at 6:46, Sly Fox just intentionally parks his car on the tracks and lets the oncoming train smash it! I don't think it really "up and dies" there. Either he just wanted to see what happens when a train hits a vehicle, or he could've been trying to commit insurance fraud!

They should've added a Wilhelm scream when Sly Fox decided to jump off the bridge.

I doubt they had the scream on file then. Most of the sound effects in this are from the Sound Ideas Series 1000 and Hollywood Edge Premiere Edition sound effects libraries (both of which were VERY common to hear in the media in the 1990s) and a couple of Hanna-Barbera sounds.

This is basically a documentary about sky fox and birdie bird teaching us railway saftey and what you should do when a train is coming #1 never put rocks soda cans or tree branches or anything else on the train tracks because it might derail the train #2 never throw stuff at a train #3 never stand inside railway cars like box cars or never hitchhike inside of a coal car #4 never walk on or along railway tracks or stand right next to a train it’s dangerous #5 never randomly stop you car or drive around railway crossings it can take a train a whole mile to stop it can’t stop like a vehicle and always stop at a railway crossing when the gates are down

And that was just a locomotive coupling up to the boxcars. What's worse, the doors could slam shut on Sly Fox and the train could take off, carrying him miles and miles away from home in the darkness of the boxcar. While the video doesn't mention that, I remember the Operation Lifesaver presenter policeman mentioning that when he showed this to my fourth grade class.
