V write Blue and gray about him. Because he wasn't happy anymore , he was very down and he felt alone. He want to fine a way for feeling better but he wasn't able of find that. He write this to feel better and bring those feelings out. It Made me very sad that he was feeling this way. But he is better now and that Nice. One of the most personal song

Blue and Grey is a song written and produced by V which was originally in English for his mixtape. It's snippet was heard in In The soop episode where Taehyung was on Canoeing
But members liked it for album and so rapline wrote their parts and V changed lyrucs from English to Korean.

Basically Taehyung (V) opened up about it in his recent WV magazine
That he wrote this song during his darkest phase when he didn't know what to do. Should he keep going or not bcz it felt like an endless tunnel for him. He was feeling that even if he is working why he is not happy. He had several sleepless nights. Basically this song expressess depression in a way of empathising and giving hopes.
Like instead of telling you should do this or that.. He is telling - You are depressed? Me too, we are in same boat. Let's overcome this together. You are not alone.

I love Blue and Grey but it's hard to listen to it knowing Tae was going through a burnout period and even questioning his desire to stay in the group. He talks more about this in his weverse comeback interview but I'm happy that he was able to overcome whatever was pulling him down. The song is really sad and it hits home, especially for people who have dealt with depression before. This entire album is beautiful because we really see the emotions that they were going through - and a lot of them were just like ours but it ends on a positive note. One step at a time and one day at a time until BTS and ARMY can see each other in person.

I actually asked myself why those two colors and I think one explanation can be the Color Psychology.
While BLUE is often potrayed as a color of calmness and inner stability, it is also notably refered to as the color of "inner reflection, sadness and emotional coolness" and if used in abundance it can become "haunting and cold" giving off feelings of "loneliness and isolation". That's why in my opinion Suga talks about a "blue question mark" and uses the phrase "is it anxiety or depression?", because often depression comes with a sort of numbness of senses and emotions, and it's so overwhelming to become haunting.
Grey on the other hand is considered to be the color of stability, neutrality and balance; in can also represent sadness and a sense of absense but it's vastly used as the color of those who wants to protect themselves from the world so they choose to stay neutral and "hidden" in order to find tranquility whitin their surroundings, therefore the Namjoon's line " A vast grey area is way more comfortable".
That is just my interpretation of the song
