Forgot to give you feedback on boots.. Absolutely brilliant boots, went through some awful puddles etc and feet nice and dry.. Walking in them is a bit odd though ha ha
Glad they’re working out well for you mate. I was pretty impressed! Agreed on the walking front though - not the easiest of tasks. Especially when it’s slippy 😂
I’ve got same, used them to commute all winter, great boots. However buy 1 or 2 sizes up so can wear thicker socks and then won’t constrict circulation. I use Woolie boolie 6” cuff socks
Hello 😊 I’m a big fan of these also! I have them 1 size up for my warmer socks but I’ll check out the ones you’ve mentioned there 👍🏻 Thanks for watching!
Question 🤔🤔.. Does water get in if cleats arnt put on because they don't come with the covers. Had a big problem with my rubbish shimano boots letting in water from the cleat attachment on soles.. The boots were utter garbage
Hi Simon 😊 Thanks for the question. I’m pretty confident in saying that they don’t let water in even without a cover. My rationale is this! If you pause the video @ 2:55 you’ll see additional cleat screw holes that I haven’t used. I haven’t covered or filled these and on my last trip I completely submerged both feet in a river and still had dry feet 👌🏻 Hope that helps mate.
@@thebikepackingdad I will.. Taking old sole cleat covers off my shimano boots to fit over cleat fitting.. And in truth, I purchased them for the waterproofing. I cycle to work and need dry feet when I get there 😉
@@Simon-gp2zw I totally get that! We’ve all turned up at work soaked before. Always a good start to the day 😂 Actually got a little commuting video coming soon 👌🏻

£99 now on ebay
A solid price for a good pair of shoes. Maybe get half a size / full size up if you like thick socks!
@@thebikepackingdad got size 8 and a half, brand new off ebay for £92...Agree on sizing, better to go 1 up eh 👍👍
@@Simon-gp2zw good stuff mate! Let me know how you get on with them. They are winter boots after all so thick socks all the way 🙌🏻
