I just had a whole family of these attacked me on the same dinosaur on the same primordial tyrants realism servers and one of the older adolescent babies that they had with them that were helping them decided it was going to bounce me on the shoulder and I did one stomp and it died in one shot which was so anticlimactic
If you get attacked by a raptor pack as an amarga, head to water. Chunky chicken nuggets can’t swim lol Amarga has great stamina & oxygen meter, so you can easily swim out of reach, or just wear them down and get them when they’re low on stam. …or just stand in the water so they have to doggy paddle while you stomp
This server has rules against water camping and how many times you can cross water but I can still cross at least once and I can use the water as a wall but just can’t step/stand in an depth of water
@@ShantTheF-Up Would have thought camping meant targeting anyone who goes to drink rather than trying to escape that way. Not sure what server that is, but I’ll keep an eye out for rules like that Thanks!
Amarg is probably my favorite herbivore. The server I play on made its food and water drain so slow so it’s really nice to just wander. I just wish some of the big carnivore mods (mostly Giga) didn’t outclass it so badly though considering it’s supposed to be a huge tank. If I see and start running from a Giga on the complete other side of Savannah, it shouldn’t be able to out stam/catch up to me so quickly, and like 5 shot me. Cant run, can barely hide cuz you’re so fat, can’t outstam…
This is just imo, but I kinda wished Amarg had a bit more to it. It just feels very limited atm. Like maybe give it a call that boosts it's attack, defense, or speed for a bit. And maybe give it a back kick or something for those ankle biters lol Aside from that, this fight was fun to watch! Amargasaurus is very fun to play :)
I like amarg solely because it’s so simple. I do wish it had an alternate diet (maybe cactus, and it gets a lot of water from it as well), slower food and water drain (as its base, a lot of servers have made this slower), more Hide choices…
I had to stop playing PoT after dying to an Achillo as an Amarga. I'm on Switch and still stuck on the old engine. Any time more than one other dino was loaded in, my screen would freeze for 1-2 seconds, which pretty much meant free hits on me. I'm hoping that if Switch ever gets the update that issue will be fixed on the new engine.
I would’ve if it wasn’t for the fact of there being 3 of them. Felt it would have been better for me to block them from getting around me altogether. Thank you for the tip! Will definitely use it in the future!
It’s absolutely bullsh!t how these little rats are op. I sense an upcoming nerf. And what i hope the nerf touches the most is CW and HP because right now these things are hella blurry. You keep hitting them and they don’t show signs of hurt or scars at all and it’s very confusing
Dont know about that, they the same size as a cera same health same base speed and same combat weight as cera and kentro and compared to the other 2 with the same combat weight its not beter and imo even worse than both
Imo, the worst thing to fight against i feel would be cera. Armored tail reduced a lot and when it comes down to achillo vs cera, cera wins. Cera can take a hit a look like it never was touched till it’s on deaths door of health
@@ShantTheF-Up cera is built to have reflective damage and with armor hide it becomes a brick. Achillo is a raptor, it shouldn’t have the same characteristics as a cera because it’s a whole different species. Plus its claw attack that’s made for larger animals is definitely op, a pack of 3 achillos can take down a rex. People went up and roar over hatz being op and couldn’t comprehend the first big flyer in the game and started demanding nerfs, but achillo is definitely op for its category and no one is saying anything. I get for raptor players this like heaven but cmon it definitely needs a nerf.
@@syro5775 for achillo the one thing I hate about it as of rn is that it’s meant for mixpacking with the small raptors. Small raptors have thankfully calmed down some since the nerf but now it just seems like the devs are wanting the revolution. I personally like having a bigger raptor that can take on the bigger stuff and is built just for that but I can also see the frustration.

I think the server had some stats changed, like I think amarg is faster here than it's supposed to be
It's fairly strong on officials but Apexes kind of delete it if they can catch up

Good tip for amarg is sitting still and percise turning kinda like ano and steg. Its turn is so good that you can whip around and protect all sides
