Very accurate! It’s even worse for women trying to get into the gun community. There have been times that my wife has asked very legitimate questions, and guys just tend to get a kick out of making fun of anyone who is not an expert with the most of Gucci guns and gear.

Looking forward to your thoughts on the latest atf "ruling". It feels pretty personal this time around as compared to their usual flip flopping.

I'm going to make a video on it asap. Yeah I definitely have a few things to say about it haha.

No kidding and coming from the car scene you quickly learn how fast people talk crap online about someone else's setup and the reality of what you find in the wild (track/range day). That being, there's a whole lot of humble people out there running far worse/cheap things you wouldn't dare bring yourself to run with but they're having the best time not worrying about anyone else's ideas or crap. A lot of times those people will be impressed and compliment whatever 'basic' setup you got and because you were lead to believe that wasn't "good enough" you have a hard time believing how that can be cool to someone else. Live free people, not to impress others.

Yeah I agree. You can definitely tell a lot about someone and how much experience they have just by how they act online. People who lack experience and don't train will trash others because they need that assurance, attention and approval from those in the community. People who are actually good and work hard don't need it. They also put gear above actually training and experience to the point where they think more expensive gear makes them better than anyone who doesn't have it.
