Today we'll be unboxing Opaque Watercolor kindly sent by Paul Rubens. These paints have the characteristics and the diffusivity of watercolor and strong coverage of gouache. When they dry, the texture looks very similar to gouache. I think this is perfect for those who like both watercolor and gouache. I really enjoyed painting with this new set of colors 🥰

When I saw that scene in Whisper of the heart, I knew i wanted to paint it! But with my beginner skills I couldn't do it so i took a screenshot for later. Thanks for this video Meeco🤧✨️
Btw do colours dry darker/lighter like it does for gouache normally?
The color does change slightly darker but there’s not much difference compared to when you put the paint on the paper and when it dries. :)

but what tape do you use because the washi tape i have been using keeps tearing my watercolor paper even if I put it on my clothes first to make it less sticky 😩

What's the difference between opaque watercolor and gouache?
Gouache when dry will be matte, with opaque watercolor it will still have a bit of shine. Thank you so much for watching 😊🌼

this is definitely not watercolor at all, it's a gouache
