Going Dark #2 no-smoke paraffin lamps

My go-to during power outages is a paraffin lamp (actually several of them). Most people shy away from paraffin because of the smoke factor which can leave your house filled with sooty 'fog', your eyes streaming tears and your lungs burning. What they don't realize is that there is a really simple solution to make them stop smoking and I'm going to show you how.

Smoke is a symptom of incomplete combustion. I assume the longer wick transfers too much parafin for the amount of available oxygen. Nice stuff Charl
