    Im a 46 year old adoptee. I had an irish catholic bio mother who didnt believe in abortion. She hid her pregnancy and placed me for adoption. I have the most beautiful family. I have reconnected with my bio family and its awesome. It dosnt always work out the way my story has, but im so grateful i had the opportunity to live this life. So many people say they have an abortion because they wouldnt be able to carry a child and then give it up...but why is it different in your heart just because you havnt held your child? You love it to much when you see its face but not enough when you see its heart beating? We have desensitized our civilization. If its not right here in front of you it dosnt register. If abortion videos were as widely viewed as dog abuse videos would that make a difference? People care more about high kill animal shelters than abortion as birth control. You get annihilated for adopting a puppy and giving it up when you have a new baby but no one cares that you get an abortion when you have sex and then win the prize that sex hands out. Mind blowing.

      My aunt did the same thing when she found out she was pregnant in high school. Very similar to your story. My own father and uncle, her brothers, didn't even know she was ever pregnant and had a child until about 5 years ago when her child found her. If my aunt didn't make that choice to keep her baby and give her little girl that chance at life, it wouldn't just be her baby's life that ended, but her child had 3 children of her own that wouldn't be here either.

      My sister and I were raped for 6 years by our mother's live in boyfriend. My mother had a daughter with him. My sister is 3 years older than me. He would beat on us. Our mother did nothing. Mama always worked the night shift. So he had full reign on us. I was in Jr highschool 6th grade. I said I was sick. My whole reason was to tell her about him rapping my sister. I could not tell her about me. She was in the bathroom mirror putting her makeup on getting ready to go to work. She called in sick. We were told to go to the second pasture and stay there until she calls us in. She told my sister to get supper started for me to come with her. She had the big stick. She got tired from swinging that stick so she resorted to her fist. Then the next day she went to work. When he got home, back to the barn. When he finished beating on me, to the bedroom for his fun. We all knew that bad stuff is happening in their bedroom because when she's in there screaming we can all hear her. When I'm in their screaming they all knew what was happening in there. Six to seven months later I'm sweeping the living room, my sister is laying on the couch reading. Hear comes Mom from the kitchen, she stopped dead in her tracks and said, who did this? You have a baby growing in you. Who did this? My sister calmly said Papa. So yes Mom ran to the church that we had never gone to and the next day my sister was gone. Papa told my mom that he was in love with my sister and he wanted to marry her. So there was no abortions then. Her only choice was to give it up for adoption. It destroyed her body and her soul. She was quiet and reserved for about three years. So your position on this story today is what happened. She was forced to have his child. She's retired now but she lived in fear every day that she would be called to the front because her first child was standing there. You think it's ok for her to be tortured for forty years. She doesn't matter only the baby does. Really?

  • @plother4242

    Two things.. why does the government allow a mother to kill her child yet if a person kills a pregnant woman they get charged with a double homicide? Why is it ok for one person to kill a child in the womb but not the other one. Next, the way to tell if a baby is wanted or not is the words used. When a woman wants her baby it is always called a baby no matter what stage it is in. When she doesn't want the baby it is always a clump of cells or a fetus because she doesn't feel as guilty getting rid of just a clump of cells. So the wording is all in whether the baby is wanted or not.

      And really, there you have the reason they are trying to commandeer language. And i totally agree with yr point. The baby is 50% hers and 50% his. If she can kill it, willy-nilly, why does he HAVE to shoulder the financial responsibility should she decide NOT to? Seems to me a bit unfair, this having-your-cake/eating-it-too world some women want.

      So the reason why government allows such and such is better asked of yourself as why do you have the misconception of believing a government is righteous at all? Schools and tv , radio, your peers all share a ton of assumptions and beliefs that you are incorrect about them being if any actual real truth. You've been conned into believing and expecting things to be a certain way when it's obvious they are not. Pull ur head out of your ass and relearn everything that you've been poisoned to think is real and then you won't have so many dumb questions which there is such thing as dumb questions, they're asked by dumbed down people. My mother is an example of a baby conceived by rape then given up for adoption. At one point my mom had a serious health scare with her heart that discovered to be genetic. She sought out her birth mother only in hopes of obtaining some medical history. It was a conversation that did not go well. She told the woman who she was, that she had no intentions of interrupting her, only needed some medical history information. I will admit, im sure it was a complete and utter shock for her bio mom to receive this call completely out of the blue after putting that chapter behind her. She told my mom that she was raped by a family friend. That her family disowned her for getting pregnant regardless of how it happened. She was sent away to a home for unwed mothers where she gave birth and put my mom up for adoption immediately. Mom was fortunately adopted at 2 days old. But what truly broke my mother's heart was hearing her biological mother say, had abortion been legal in 1956, my mother wouldnt be here. She then hung up the phone. That was the only communication she has ever had with her biological mother. I am greatful for the choice the woman made. I cannot imagine how difficult and traumatizing all that must have been for her. She could have chosen to get a back ally abortion or try some other method, but she didn't. I am so thankful that something as incredible and amazing as my mom came out of it. My mother's adoptive parents were unable to conceive. Her adoptive father was 31, and her mother was 48. (Yes, grandma was a 4'10 cougar! Lol) This was his first marriage and had no children. My grandmother was already in menopause. So they adopted my mom. Again, i am so thankful for the choice her bio mom made. There are many people that now exist if not for her decision. My mother's story is proof of how something good can come from something so horrible.

      Shut your body lust down, close your legs. If the relationship is a bonding relationship, don’t do the deed, without thinking of a possibility of a family developing from your lust. Babies are conceived, babies are alive, baby deserves their life, God gives man, woman the ability to make a baby, one choice between the couple made a baby. God gave you free will and that’s what you did with YOUR FREE WILL, you produced a baby, choices choice. Now the couple has to either make a choice raise the child as a family or give the child up for adoption. Couples I know would love to raise a baby because they can’t conceive. Babies life is as important as anyone else. One’s Choices becomes the way of life ends up to be. In many things that one looks back on, on your free will that messed one’s life or a good choice that made it possible to own a house. It is where a persons end up by living by their choices. "Self-defense" from a baby, you put in there?

    • @ClockworkWyrm
      @ClockworkWyrm 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +10

      Let me expand a bit on this if I may. First I'm not religious, in fact I'm pretty staunch atheist, but I'm also (mostly) pro-life and I think it's important to the discussion. I'm not arguing the pro-life/abortion position from a place of religion however my first premise DOES require a bit of belief and that's that human rights exist. If you don't believe that human rights exist then there's really no discussion to be had.
      That said let me put the argument more formally:
      1. Human rights exist
      2. These rights are inherent, not granted by an external entity
      3. Human rights must begin when human life begins
      If we agree that human rights exist and that they must begin to exist when life begins then we are only talking about the instances where a human has the right to terminate the life of another. We know that EVERY instance of sexual intercourse has the chance to end in pregnancy, thus making the choice to engage in sex is tacit agreement to that potential outcome. By no reasonable measure is an instance in which you make a choice grounds to terminate another life. No one would ever accept is as permissible for an airplane pilot to throw passengers out mid-flight because the pilot no longer wanted them on the plane.
      What about in the cases of rape? Pregnancy from rape results in not one, but TWO victims. The baby created, while not a choice by the mother, is ALSO a victim of the rapists actions. There are only very limited instances when it's morally and ethically permissible for one victim to terminate another victim and those instances lead to my third situation:
      Self-defense. The only circumstance during which we recognize that it's morally and ethically acceptable to take another human life is in the instances of self-defense. This doesn't mean defending yourself from inconvenience, otherwise it would be legal to kill your children at ANY age, rather there has to be a real and immediate threat to the mother's life. In this case the right to life of the baby is infringing on the right to life of the mother and it IS morally and ethically acceptable to terminate one or the other.

    • @jeremyarteago
      @jeremyarteago 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@ClockworkWyrmI agree with almost everything you said. The issue I see, up for debate, is how is it determined that the baby is infringing upon the life of the mother? Who make’s that call? Is it up for interpretation? Seems to me there is too much gray area there. Will note, doctors and medical opinions are often wrong. What happens when doc says the baby is a threat to your life. You kill the baby. You later find out doc was wrong. Oops?

      Your first point you made about the Mother having a hard time accepting it and/or the Mother and Child facing ostracization is not a valid argument. For one, adoption is an option if the Mother feels that she cannot accept the Child. Unfortunately, there are Mothers that reject, abuse, and neglect their Children, even in cases that are beyond her control such as Postpartum Depression or Psychosis. That doesn't negate the right that Child has to live. Also, ostracization happens to all kinds of people for a number of different reasons including single Motherhood, Teen Moms, and having Children out of wedlock. It's still not a reason to take an innocent life. Life is full of challenges, adversity, unfairness, even cruelness but you find a way to deal with it and push through. There are a number of options to deal with these issues that don't involve aborting your Child like going to therapy, joining support groups, reaching out to assistance programs, building a solid support system in your life whether that's through family, friends, neighbors, your local Church. Finding community goes a long way.
      As for the legal issues you referred to, I absolutely agree with you that that is a real problem and I completely empathize with any Women that is put in that position. But, that being said, it's not an excuse to end the life of an innocent child. It makes no logical sense to punish the Child with the death penalty for the crimes of their biological Father. We don't do that with any other crime and we shouldn't allow it for ®ape. Going back to the legalities issue, we should be fighting to change our legal system and put more protections in place for the Mother and Child instead of fighting to eliminate the Child. Also, there has to be some degree of personal responsibility on the part of the Mother, a conversation that we're not ready to have. Obviously the fact that she was ®aped is completely out of her control and through no fault of her own but how she handles it afterward is partly on her. If she's not on birth control and her attacker didn't use protection, she should do the responsible thing and take Plan B contraceptive (the "Morning after pill") instead of relying on abo®tion as birth control and taking an innocent life. There are countless Clinics that will give out the pill for free, or she could go to her Doctor or the Hospital, or go to any Pharmacy and get it. She can even have someone get it for her and bring it to her.
      Using abo®tion as a form of birth control accounts for 99% of all abo®tions. Focusing on the exception to the rule, that 1%, is mostly unproductive to the overall issue. If a Woman is going to be sexually active, she has the responsibility of preventing pregnancy if she is not ready to have a Child. It's no secret that pregnancy is a consequence of having sex. There's really no excuse to be active unprotected and risking getting pregnant, relying on abo®tion as a solution. Literally the ONLY exception that I see as actually valid is in the case of there being an immediate threat to the life of the Mother, which should be handled between the Mother and her Doctor, because in that case, you're trying to save a life and have no other choice. Other than that, all other scenarios are preventable and therefore do not warrant the taking of an innocent life.

    Dr. Ron Paul, an ob/gyn who birthed over 4,000 babies, made some good points. He said if a pregnant woman loses her baby in a car wreck caused by a drunk driver, that driver can go to prison for manslaughter. Likewise, he said if a fetus dies because of something he does wrong as a doctor to a pregnant patient, he can be held liable. His question was why do some fetuses have rights while others do not? It's a moral question. He said when he was an intern, he witnessed an abortion in the 1960s. The baby was left in a bucket, rolled off to the side, allowed to die with no help. On the same day, he saw medical staff fighting to save the life of a premature baby. Again, it's a moral question and the answer is obvious. "Wanted babies" have rights. I can certainly understand if someone was raped. Dr. Paul said if that happened, the woman could get to a hospital (if possible) within 24 hours. There are drugs that will keep the zygote from attaching the the uterine wall, but the woman wouldn't know if she were pregnant anyway. But having an abortion for rape victims is understandable. The bad thing is some women might accuse innocent men of something they didn't do. It's a moral issue.

Mind you, we had begun vaccinating our children, but stopped short of the “recommended” list after talking with their pediatrician(very open minded and in fact stopped recommending all of the govt recommended shots).We made the decision that we wouldnt “catch our children up” to meet the states mandate which meant we could no longer be a part of the fostering/adoption process. This is problematic and absolutely broke our hearts. Change some of these things so more families can get involved.

    AMEN! Guess what, people? Conception is the NATURAL result of sex; conception of life is the PURPOSE of sex. Birth control does not "fail" when you engage in sex and it results in pregnancy; your body is actually doing what it is designed to do! There are many stages in human development. Embryo, fetus, newborn, toddler, child, teen, adult, elderly. All of us are still human, deserving of protection. I have worked as an RN in women's health my whole career. Abortions actually HARM women's health; increasing risks of breast cancer, risks permanent damage to a woman's uterus, and increase the risk of future infertility. The mental health damage to a woman is also significant; the mental anguish they experience after abortions haunts them for years. The truth is that abortion is violence against both women and their children. Many women are pressured into abortions by partners. How is that supportive and empowering? Bottom line: abortion murders vulnerable innocent life. Period. Protecting innocent life should take precedence over any thing else.

      Texas is a very diversified state. Generally, the bigger the city , the more democrat it is. Just my opinion, but since I'm from Texas - it's the non Texans that move to the bigger cities and the college age kids that push those cities to be democrats. Austin is my example . Catch those same college kids 10 to 15 years later - working and living outside of those cities and they are now republican. 😂

      @@qv09vvp and a lot of people from California have moved their businesses to Texas. I just hadn't thought of it much.

    On the issue of RACE, I am a fair skinned 51 y.o. Hispanic Latin Woman who was born in Georgetown University Hospital Washington DC in August '73, i don't pass judgement on individuals because of the outside because that changes all the time, i pass judgement by the way that an individual acts and says towards me, I simply walk away from the individuals who act, behave or use foul language because I don't need/want to be around that negative energy anymore.
    Thanks for letting me share.

    I never understand how you can argue abortion when it is almost always 100% preventable.

    A fetus is NOT violating the self owneship of their parent. The parent PUT that baby there.
    Self ownership also means you are responsible for your actions. If you get pregnant it is your responsibility to take care of the child
    Just like if you hit someone with your car you are responsible for their medical bills, pain and suffering and lost wages.

    I became a new subscriber today! Thank you for your conservative views. God bless you and keep spreading the good news! Thank you Charlie Kirk for your tireless efforts and especially for your patience. You are a modern John the Baptist in that you are leading people to Christ.
