In this beatbox tutorial I would like to show another very important beatbox technique. This combo is a must have, if you want yo create more comple beatbox patterns

I’ve been avoiding tkK for years but am really practicing hard to get it down. I’ve focused so much on musicality in the past, but now it’s time to finally get my tech down. Apparently my inward k snare sounds really good, and I’m doing tkK correctly now, just need to build more comfort and speed. At least that’s what my beatboxer peers tell me. I’m struggling to go faster but I feel a little more comfort each week I practice.
But it still is a bit frustrating. It seems to come really easy to some of my beatboxing friends, but it’s so hard for me. But at the same time, I find some sounds easy that they find extremely difficult.
Anyways, just wanna say thanks again, and keep making 🔥 content!

When you have explained the basics to us, it would be great to see some pattern combos in 5/4 or 7/8 time signatures.

I am part of that group that does tkK with inward k's. I try to do the second k outward but as soon as I speed it up, it goes back to just t + double snare like the guncock sound lol

This technique for me is so hard i gonna do everytime more days for me but this can help me to invrease speed but i love this tutorial
Bro, you mentioned outward k snare and you did a k snare. This can be confusing for some new beatboxers. The pattern TkK is:
T - Hi Hat without "s"
k - Outward k snare (Letter C without air)
K - Rimshot (Inward K snare, but without air and you need to do it on a side).
2 years I wasn't able to do TkK because some tutorials are confusing.

yeah for real, the click on the side sounds hella similar to your outward k so i was confused until i read this, thinking you were somehow getting two outward k’s at the end
i’m still struggling to go from k to click though, my tongue seems to take a bit of time to get into position and apply pressure for the click so i can’t seem to do it very fast yet

Hello Skiller , I'm from Poland. I started practicing beatboxing a year ago and I have a problem with the vibration of my mouth and the right moment to take a breath. In Poland we don't have such detalied guides, I hope you can tell us what to improve. Best regards
Really awesome tutorial! Sadly I'm still struggling with getting it to be fast. It's like I can start it slow, pick up the pace, but then I just hit this barrier that's difficult to get past 😞...imma keep at it tho!
It is all about the position of your tongue. You should not loose to much time to change positions. :)

How long did it take to learn this technique???
When I try to do fast tkK I start to make the gun reloade sound and it doesn't sound right :(
Do you do outward K snare? ( the second sound of the combo should be outward) t k K
@@skillerbeatbox yes, but the way I make the gun reloade sound is to do very fast kK so now it's hard for me to control it amd make clean tkK. But it's ok I have found other fast techniques and your resent uploads were very useful

You can master it for a month. It all depends on how much you practice. The good thing is that you always can get better with it. My Tkk technique is better than my Tkk technique 5 years ago :)

I’m a little confused on the T sound, is that supposed to use air from the throat or not? I know you’re not supposed to breath with your lungs, but does the airway close or stay open?
To be more specific, you talk in the rimshot video about not breathing for that sound and just using the air muscles in your throat to pull the air back. Should I use those muscles to push air out for the T or block the air flow (using the back of my tongue and soft pallet, like I’m about to say the letter K)?
The T sound is just a little flick with the tongue. You should use only the musscles of your throat and tongue to make the sound.

It depends on you. You can have very nice TkK for 1 month if you practice a lot.

Skiller, one question, after doing the outward k snare I have to do the rimshot, and the air of the outward k goes for the two sides of the mouth, but the rimshot only enters by one side, and im wasting a lot of time moving my jaw to do the position of the rimshot after the outward k, is recommendable to not move the jaw and do the rimshot like the outward k snare, by the two sides? Or im doing the outward k wrong and is made in the center-back of the tongue?
From what I understand, it seems that you are doing the outward K from the both sides of the tongue and you lose time. You don’t need to emphasize on outward K snare. Just pronounce letter K like you normally talk, don’t press. Rimshot is done from one of the sides and it seems that you are doing it correct. Just have in mind that the the tip of your tongue will be at the top of your mouth for T sound and for the rimshot. :)

Can you inhale or hum while doing tkk?
No. You should not take air and you can not hum without interrupting because you are using the throat for these 3 sounds. :)
I didn't understand the "c" sound, I know how to do a "kch" but my Tongue moves and it's more difficult to do tkk, someone help?
C sound is rimshot. The position for the rimshot is the same like inward K snare ( KCH ) just don't take air. Next week I will do tutorial for it. :)
