I recently got myself a little Ford focus 1.8 petrol, not the quickest of things but it's sooo quiet, smooth and sits on the motorway at 65/70 all day, luckily its the titanium model so comes with heated leather seats, auto light and wipers, great car for £1100 2007 77k
Sooner rather than later your gearbox diff pin will fall out and the gearbox and clutch will implode and then explode due to a design flaw where the pin eventually falls out.
@ferenczsinko6770 my clutch has gone. It can still drive but noisy and juddering on pull away and changing gear. Don't think it will last long. Garage says it sounds like the pressure plate. And a new duel mass flywheel is £900
Even my 2015 mk3 focus has wind up windows they cheap out on them for the basic zetec model shocking that a 2015 car doesnt have rear electric windows as standard
My grandad had a Focus Sport116 (limited edition) in light blue kinda colour with the same alloys now this car was a 2006 55reg EF55YCJ It had 272k miles and a few weeks ago was scrapped END OF LIFE VEHICLE cause it was passed it’s sell by date and time for it to go it was a 1.6i 16v 115bhp like this one had a tad bit of rust all in all a great daily. @@ArmaganDemiral very much I liked that car my grandad also scrapped his old FORD FUSION 3 1.6i 16v in red 2004 EO04JWZ it wasn’t scrapped however cause it has tax and mot so a garage are using it or someone has brought it out right soooo… and it was scrapped December 2020 and got a new mot in 2021 feb
Not sure if you still have the car but the stereo is coded in MK2 focus's. I've had mine for about half a year, mines the 2.0l duratec he but I've tweaked it a little and it's pretty fun to drive now.
Which kind of fuel filter this particular model has (there are some differences between models mk2 model years 2005 - 2010)? Is it intank type or external (somewhere near by 52 litres fuel tank bottom of the car)? Also: let's see how easy is change fuel pump (if this really needs to be changed for example)? Generally pretty good car, especially Europe version. Maybe the older version mk1 is more customizable, technically simpler and therefore even better. ☺

Have you or anyone who owns a ford car has experienced water leaks from the back boot which leads into the spare wheel well? As i been getting it and i looked at videos and did a little research and tried the options available but little luck, i reckon it leaking from the rear lights on the driver side where you screw the lights in. Would appreciate any input 😊
Hmm not sure on this - could also be to do with rust? This doesn’t seem like a common issue. Seems like that car must of had some work done to the rear and wasn’t done to a correct standard
@@ArmaganDemiral it's a good point. I took some of the interior on the boot of the driver side and seen a little and felt a bit of wetness so possibly from there. If you get the chance try and look into videos about water leaks in the back of the boot of fords/focuses . Thankfully for you you been fortunate 😊
I have a focus mk2. Mine was leaking to. Mostly they leak trough the attachement points of the rear spoiler. The upper trim of the boot removes quite easily then you can seal it with some silicone sealent

You can take out the radio, fit a new facia for a different shaped radio, get an adaptor kit and get a new radio cd player that has a usb on it, i've fitted a Kenwood in my Ford Focus 2007 Style
I have a 2010 focus Style automatic this is lowest spec version which I've had from almost new and I must say it's the best car ive ever had for reliability . I have replaced the bonnet release mechanism behind the grill which is a common fault on these models. I'm told by a ford service technician that the mk1 mk2 focus was a far better car than the newer generation from 2011 .
No there’s a lot wrong with this car actually. This was one of my early videos so I was pretty shy in front of the camera but nevertheless this car has been scrapped because it broke down and was unable to be fixed.

I've a Mk2 Focus myself that I paid £490 for in October 2018 and think it's great. Mines a 07 reg 1.8tdci Zetec Climate Estate with 206k on the clock

I have a 2014 Ford Fusion and there was no sound coming from it. I had to get it replaced. Maybe that was the issue in this car

I've also just picked up a focus 2010 and have this issue. When you say upper trim is that the trim that would be underneath where the spoiler sits?
I have a 2006 auto 162,000 on clock and drives perfect.
I have the same 1.4 but facelift with 124 000 km and all works the interior is like new and th engine is well on the other hand it is so slowww
also gear knob boot needs to be pulled up and over the little plastic collect that u were sliding it up 2
