I don't even watch One Piece but wow this statue looks amazing. I love how the clear Resign looks especially with the shading and the frost effects. And that you got the Voice Actor in is just the icing on the cake! You have outdone youreself again. Really this was an awsome unboxing

Honestly I’m not a one piece fan but this Statue is Awesome. I’m now only 7 years in collecting but I must say . The most times you can see a licensed piece just from looking at it. I didn’t now this was licensed I watched your unboxing and was thinking wow that’s awesome the ice is the best I ever saw in a unboxing. Then I looked after the video on the Web and saw it’s a licensed Piece . You can see the most times that it’s really approved from the Creator from the Series .

Licensed statues are somewhat hit or miss from what I've seen. Jimei is one of the best but some other companies can sometimes be a little too artistic with how them bring them to life. One Piece is very different though....the creator himself always approves these.

@@BAMCollectibles Read it. 50 chapters a day is maybe 3-4 hours, you can read through it all in 20 days. Way faster than trying to finish the anime which is truly a 6 month+ long task of regular watching

My favorite admiral
This is such an awesome statue. And a great unboxing and review as well,...duh. You always do awesome videos like this. So it is a shame that this statue is so expensive. The reasoning is not only because it is very big, has expensive materials, it's nicely detailed, has a general nice design and that this statue is very limited. One of the biggest reason is that this statue officially licensed by toei animation (and generally one piece), which makes this statue more rarely and of course more expensive. So nobody should think this statue is so expensive only because of its size, materials and detail. There is a lot more reasoning for that. And on top of that, would the company also like to make some profits of those awesome statues.
Very well said and explained! This one was the very first one Jimei made as well and they've released 4 since so it's growing in popularity and naturally in price. The original $900 base price though was justified I think,

I don’t really watch one piece but this is a cool statue, I thibk you should try to branch out to one punch man as well 😁 I liked their villains
I just realized that shadows are painted on why is that ? I can see why in a 2d drawing but in a 3d model when light will shine onto it?
Probably allows for them to be overexadurated. Also white casts more light so maybe like actors wear make up because of how lighting washes them out maybe his outfit color drowned out the shadows so they had to paint them.

Just like someone else said, I've yet to watch One Piece, but I know a lot about it's universes and have been in multiple roleplays. This statue is wonderfully made. Is this one of your friends' statues? Like you mentioned in the $6000 haul video? Or did you get this for yourself?
Either way, it's certainly something that could easily steal the spotlight in many One Piece collections - my only problem with it is that the blue on the ice I feel like is way too saturated, making it look like water waves than actual ice, but all in all, I think that's just nitpicking. It looks great either way!
(Edit: The snow however is great, just like you mentioned. Just wanted to point that out too. Also oops, sorry, commented mid video, forget that first paragraph!)
