@@Patrick42567 Dude, he didn't say he "had problems" with them, he said they rip you off every time. Which is true. It's like $30 to order something off doordash that would have costed $10 if you picked it up yourself and like $3 if you actually cooked it yourself.
For the sake of a free order from the Wingstop, customer's will work any number of scams. They don't care if it impairs the driver's ability to pay the rent. Been there, bro. I want no contact delivery... Oh let me text you 12 times. Then I am going to intercept you in the parking lot so you can't take a pic of the dropoff. Then report the order as not delivered. This is a risk at high schools and in sketchy areas. I don't work sketchy areas anymore. It's dangerous and unprofitable. Can't get around the little brats at high schools though. They never tip and the logistics are always fubar.
Just have them enter a code to say it’s delivered. 98% of the time everything is closed up and sealed with tamper-proof stickers or even stapled. I laugh when the app asks me if the restaurant forgot anything, as if I’m supposed to open the bags and containers to check it all. 😅
I was broke down at a travel center/ truck stop with a Denny's waiting on a mechanic. I got a burger and was pleasantly surprised, it could have been my low expectations. My area no longer has a Denny's, we used to have 3.
I had half an order stolen or misplaced. I got one bag, but I think the restaurant sent out two bags. I tried to contact the driver, but never got a response.
Wow! I can't believe what some delivery drivers are thinking. Like did they actually think that they could steal their customer's food and deliver a ripped and empty bag and the customer wouldn't notice?? Reviewbrah deserves better!
Uber and door dash driver, here. I've come to know a lot of new drivers (who quickly get deactivated) use the platform to aquire quick, ill-begotten food, knowing the responsibility of the delivery falls on the Service itself and they can get away with it with hardly a punishment.
Tried a delivery order once in 2020 during lockdown, took over an hour and when it finally came is was someone else’s order (we ordered for 3 people and got 2 sandwiches and one fry order, no drinks)… we spent $40 for fast food and didn’t get enough to feed all of us. Took several days to get this resolved and a refund finally came- never again!! I learned to cook more variety of things and never tried again, what a train wreck
I stopped going to my local Denny's when the only cooks they could hire kept talking about getting off papers (probation). Food quality to match. The waitress would say "they're out of something" but only after you've ordered it because she knows all the guy can do is fry an egg.
That's actually a good question. With all the TH-cam leaving or taking breaks because of health. If one day he is so disappointed in reviewing, do you think he will ever stop making videos. What will he tell us.
Disappointing review titles with a matching frown in the thumbnail get the most clicks. His day being ruined over the butterfly shrimp is what made him go viral in the first place.
I’ve had food stolen by delivery people before. It sucks. One delivery woman took a photo of the delivery but it was clearly sitting on her leather car seat and not at my door. Most are fine but there are bad eggs out there.
This is why I only use delivery from my local pizza shop. They have their own drivers. I’m definitely not paying for a third party service’s fees. Even my local pizza place uses a third party system for online ordering that adds an additional charge that’s about 10%.

My question is, why would they go to all the trouble of dropping it off at your house to drop off an empty bag? Did they think you would just accept an empty bag? So strange
I'm sorry you had such a bad experience, and I certainly hope it didn't make you sick 😕
RB, the Moons Over Myhammy is life! Same with the Super Bird.
Btw, have you considered a video at a food truck rally? I know you probably stick to national chains, but food truck reviews would probably be a hoot.
The rare non-branded title episode - this should be a special one
Your reviews are always entertaining and informative. Keep up the good work!! I also appreciate your sense of self and individuality!!
You can't trust a lot of these Doordash, Uber Eats, etc. drivers.
Yeah! Lets hate these underpaid and starving workers
@@godhimself1128 A thief is a thief. Do your damn job and maybe a raise or better wage will come. Losers...
@@godhimself1128Thats not what they said??
@godhimself1128 If you're underpaid and starving, you should probably get an actual job or go to a food bank and not steal from your clients working as a food delivery driver.
@@godhimself1128 Stealing food from deliveries isn't going to solve the problem with your wages from the company. All you're doing is taking food from other people who are trying to eat.
I’ve been doing food delivery for various apps for almost three years, and never, never, never, ever have I ever wanted/wished nor even accidentally done anything like this as I prize (as most do) my ratings, etc as that affects our (my) ratings, thus our (my) money!
I WANT to get your food to you! Because…money!
I hope this never happens again and I hope that driver is dismissed!
Cheers, brah!
Exactly. Me too. Hearing drivers like that pisses me off. They're probably like 19 and barely ever worked a job...they make everyone that delivers sound bad
I won't ever use any food delivery service they rip you off ever time
You're full of it. I use DDash all the time and never had 1 problem with them. At least 2 uses a week. You must live in a bad place.
@@Patrick42567 Dude, he didn't say he "had problems" with them, he said they rip you off every time. Which is true. It's like $30 to order something off doordash that would have costed $10 if you picked it up yourself and like $3 if you actually cooked it yourself.
@@Patrick42567 the worst thing i've had from dd is them just not finding me a driver, which sucks but there's not much you can really do there
Untrue
Use Uber eats. Door dash is the worst.
Thank you for doing what you do, sir.
Hearing your reviews makes me feel sane.

When I used to deliver the lowest rating I ever had was a 99% stealing food is top tier bum behavior
@@ivermec-tin666 Yeah there’s shitty customers and shitty drivers, both exist and both are bums.
Don’t take the no tip orders in the first place.
Just have them enter a code to say it’s delivered. 98% of the time everything is closed up and sealed with tamper-proof stickers or even stapled. I laugh when the app asks me if the restaurant forgot anything, as if I’m supposed to open the bags and containers to check it all. 😅
I'd be more worried about what they did to my food than them taking any. That's why I will never use a food delivery service.
We’ll make Dennys pay

I'm pretty sure I know exactly what someone who would steal a chicken sandwich would look like. They also probably drove a Nissan Altima
This man is the Walter Cronkite of fast food.
That's why they're called Doordashers.
Deliver right to your door and then dash. 👎
You got the "Grand Slam."
More like grand scam
Excellent review as usual.
Quite unfortunate series of experiences though, it must be said.
Wow! I can't believe what some delivery drivers are thinking. Like did they actually think that they could steal their customer's food and deliver a ripped and empty bag and the customer wouldn't notice?? Reviewbrah deserves better!
When you report a driver they lose their tip and sometimes worse.
It was rake-ins duh.
Uber and door dash driver, here. I've come to know a lot of new drivers (who quickly get deactivated) use the platform to aquire quick, ill-begotten food, knowing the responsibility of the delivery falls on the Service itself and they can get away with it with hardly a punishment.
Its not rocket appliances.

I have the same print in my house. Such a classic!
I stopped going to my local Denny's when the only cooks they could hire kept talking about getting off papers (probation). Food quality to match. The waitress would say "they're out of something" but only after you've ordered it because she knows all the guy can do is fry an egg.
“Disturbing food “😂😂 very good
I'm starting to worry that our 'brah will give up on reviewing after all these disappointments

There is also a new scam where someone will put in an order. They pick it up saying they are the driver then they cancel the order.

I’ve had food stolen by delivery people before. It sucks. One delivery woman took a photo of the delivery but it was clearly sitting on her leather car seat and not at my door. Most are fine but there are bad eggs out there.
I go and pick up my own food. Not trusting delivery. Good report!! 😊😊😊
This is why I only use delivery from my local pizza shop. They have their own drivers. I’m definitely not paying for a third party service’s fees. Even my local pizza place uses a third party system for online ordering that adds an additional charge that’s about 10%.

The sheer audacity of Denny's charging $20 for a chicken sandwich, you can get an infinitely better chicken sandwich at the best restaurant in your local major city for less
Not at 2 am 😋. Besides a lot of people are saying that's a door dash price
