I've got a 72 cb350 and have the same issue with the carbs. I too set my idle such that when the engine is cold it won't idle no matter what, but once it gets up to temp, it idles perfect!
Great fun run. At 16 I bought a new 72 red cb175 honda. That bike is bullet proof!!! You can't hurt it or kill it!!! Looking at your handle bars, are they bent alittle?? Or are my eyes tricking me again??? Be safe, and have fun on your bike!
How much do you weight? I'm 245#, was thinking about grabbing one of these? Dont know if i would be too big. Never owned a bike before and just wanted something fun to break into with.
Thanks for the video. I had a 1970 as my very first bike. Really wish I wouldn't have gotten rid of it. I may get another one someday.

Always tune warm, clean jets fixed that problem for me.

Takes me back to when I had one. Rode it once from eugene, ore to turlock california. Top speed was 62 mph on the freeway.
totally agree about the 175 carbs. very finicky in switching between cold,hot

You have to set the carbs idle with a manometer. Also always tune stuff when it's warm.

Proper motorbike but it would probably help to strip and clean the carbs, balence them and Then adjust the idle speed..
