    Hi Jason, great video. Would you be so kind to make a video to explain, in an ACB trip unit ( i.e. Micrologic 5.0), what's the meaning and difference between ON and OFF settings for Tsd? Thank you

      Thanks for your question. Please try the software Cable Pro Web and you will notice that ON or OFF means that part of the time current curve will be present or otherwise. Hope this helps.

      One month ago. I was doing a transient stability study where downstream MCCB with Thermo magnetic PD shall trip on 3 phase SC fault and upstream ACB shall not trip. Incoming source is a DG. When I did the relay coordination study then I observed a definite time gap between tripping of the downstream MCCB and incoming ACB. However during the transient stability study downstream MCCB did not trip due current decrement factor and excitation control in the DG. If I lower the current settings in the MCCB then it crosses 125%of full load current criteria. Eventually I added micomp120 relay instead of thermomagnetic protection. The window of thermo magnetic protection gives problem while using transient stability with a DG.
