Primeau is comfortable with the AHL. 7-0 is good. It cannot hurt Primeau to play games in the AHL can only give him more confidence and needed ice time.He could be important for the series in the AHL.
I can't say I fully understand what the coaching staff has been doing with him in Laval, taking him off PP1, dropping him to the 3rd pairing at times but they have to figure something out to get him to make better decisions in his own end. Until then he should stay in Laval and just keep working at it.
@@harryhood1919 That makes sense. The Habs are hoping for one of Mailloux or Reinbacher to make the team out of camp next season. With the Reinbacher injury, Mailloux has the inside track, if he can iron out a few of the wrinkles in his defensive game.
@@harryhood1919 I agree with this. He is good in the offensive zone but he makes poor defensive decisions for coverage, and net presence. It’s almost like having an average forward playing defense. You might as well put Jake Evans back there, he’d get as many points but probably wouldn’t breakdown as often defensively as Mailloux does. I haven’t followed him in Laval but I really hope he figures it out. I want his story to become a positive for our team or the NHL and I can’t help but think he’s a hard worker.

YAY, Laval. 🎉💙
Maillou playin solid defence.
getting better for sure
Does Laval not have a home broadcast. It seems like in all these highlight packages the announcers are very much against the Rocket.
Only at home
Logan looks good, maybe a call up for the Habs, Rocket continues to win!!👍🏻🔵⚪️🔴👊🏼💯
