I love how in Helios new design, he’s looking more natural than the last time we saw him. Even though Helios asked to become cyborg, it was still inhumane what Spectra did, its like hes trying to atone now. After all, he was always a friend to the Bakugan, even though his methods were questionable
Yep He maximized ragnarok's cannon power and minimized it's toll on Helios body also managed to remove the AI on his eye And probably the biggest one, we have no idea how hard he had to combine his engineering and biology knowledge to restore his arm He wasn't able to bring back his wings but Helios probably lightened up his mood by telling him he'll be more than happy with getting more firepower instead xD
Honestly it’s not Spectra’s fault. Sure he was the brains behind Helios’ transformation but Helios suggested that only a mechanical Bakugan can be the ultimate of power. Helios wanted to become very powerful, even in a price. It’s similar to how Dharak accepted his mutation as it made him stronger. However yes I do agree with the notion of Spectra trying to restore Helios. Additionally Helios may have grown an arm during his evolution. His A.I may have been removable because it’s possible that the cyber eye wasn’t a replacement of Helios’ own eye. Spectra now wants power in order to protect his friends and to probably atone for the issues Helios’ MK2 form had. Considering the errors MK2 had, it’s possible that if Helios’ body wouldn’t have evolved, Helios would have been negatively affected in some point. Infinity Helios has no such problems and is shown to still be on par with Drago and possibly Razenoid without his full power, showing how brilliant Spectra is in having matched not one but two of the most powerful Bakugan in existence.
Me and my sister made jokes about this. Saying that Spectra and Helios are far too awesome for the series that they could no longer be paid enough to show up in the series. So the fans got together to raise enough money for him to appear. And they only raised enough money for him to make a cameo in Mechtanium Surge.

yes, I really disliked the mechanium surge series. Like there was not like any funny moments in it, it was to serious and annoying. For some reason i really hated marucho, all he did is complaining and blaming it on Dan if bad things happened.
I don't think I've ever properly acknowledged how much of a pain it must've been to animate the battles in this series. The bakugan designs are all so detailed and massive and the fact that they kept animating them in 2d all the way through the series is insanely impressive

One can assume vestal regeneration technology, evolution and/or forbidden ability cards. They’re somewhat vague on what exactly happened to Helios but whatever it was made Helios seem like he can be a one man army and have won the Gundalian war single-handedly
The design for Helios in MS is cool but I would like if they put wings, just like his first appearence, on his back instead of that missle launcher. That should be a battle gear. Helios was the only bakugan who have battle gear and baku-nano in season 4.

Helios goes through a lot of mutations rather than evolutions. At one point he loses nearly all organics and becomes a mech. The sanity of Helios is pretty underrated imo
Honestly the first part of Mechtanium Surge had insane potential, showing all of Dan’s flaws was very interesting but also Drago still having his back the entire way through. Also giving Marucho a lot of authority and putting Dan in his place was great character development.

U wanna tag along?" Ren had his own team where he was the definitive Darkus brawler. He didn't need to also be the definitive Darkus guy in the Brawlers as well.
It's me or for the creation of Master Spectra from season 2 they took a bit of inspiration from Char Aznable from the Mobile Suit Gundam anime. I mean, they are very similar in some points (their primary color is red, they are masked mysterious people, they are main rivals of the protagonist, and they also have a sister who forms part of the main cast). This could be a very interesting inspiration on the iconic Red Comet.
I wish we could get like a legends line of the original bakugans for the battle planet. Make the remakes of the og bakugans compatible with the new format

I don't see why "Mechtanium Surge" should even be a thing. From a point, they had a place for humans to battle with bakugans so why they didn't bring any old characters both humans and bakigans back from season 1? They could also play part in the plot as well. And why July and Runo just completely quit the game like that and never to return? Why didn't they even tried to show Alice for more than a picture? How they even now changed to have watches as cards for power level and the fact Spectra had the same one somehow instead of sticking with the old way? Since Spectra and Gus came back, how about adding Ace and Baron just like Mira? There is just so many stuff I hated about season 4 that I wish it was not canon. Same for season 3 that they could have done the same and bring back old characters
ah, this is a good opening for a discussion. Feel like by Season 4 they should have just gone fully down the fan service route and bring everyone back. It would have been perfect especially for the 2nd half of the season. It would have been the perfect conclusion imo

@@treymykel For real man, I was so disappointed whenever Marucho and Shun just changed their Bakugans, it made me feel like they didn't care about their bakugans...both of them changed bakugans like it's a new smartphone. I mean, I didn't bother that much in season 2 because it was something new but it annoyed me in season 3 and even more in season 4. I kinda wish the series ended at season 3 (I have problems with the season but I personally find it enjoyable enough) or at least make season 4 a celebration of everything that was in previous seasons, bring back old friends and bakugans and don't split it in two parts and kill the old bakugans.

I dont blame you. Mechtanium Surge DID have potential imo, but the story could have been better fleshed out and it could have been given more depth and development like NV or GI. Despite its flaws I still believe the first half of MS is worth watching because the Mechtogan, like you said, are absolutely the peak of the shows CG work, almost out-weighting the mechanical bakugan from NV. I believe Mechtanium Surge´s first half is... okay. Not terrible like most say. Its got stuff to like in it, but the parts that arent great REALLY arent great (like all of Dan´s friends turning against him over him getting mega cocky which sucked). Also, I really liked Anubias. ...All this cannot be said for the second half which yeah that one just plain sucks (besides the mechtogan and battles ig)

I don't see why "Mechtanium Surge" should even be a thing. From a point, they had a place for humans to battle with bakugans so why they didn't bring any old characters both humans and bakigans back from season 1? They could also play part in the plot as well. And why July and Runo just completely quit the game like that and never to return? Why didn't they even tried to show Alice for more than a picture? How they even now changed to have watches as cards for power level and the fact Spectra had the same one somehow instead of sticking with the old way?
Since Spectra and Gus came back, how about adding Ace and Baron just like Mira?
There is just so many stuff I hated about season 4 that I wish it was not canon. Same for season 3 that they could have done the same and bring back old characters

Feel like by Season 4 they should have just gone fully down the fan service route and bring everyone back. It would have been perfect especially for the 2nd half of the season. It would have been the perfect conclusion imo
@@Plants10000 Exactly, just imagine several characters we see in season 1 come back stronger, like that kid Alice once helped. Not to mention the wat they killed the old bakugan characters is not suitable for them after all they have done, its like they didn't care.
@@ath3392 Feel like the only reason they did that was to show that... uhhhhhhh whats his name again? (proof that the second half villain was honestly forgettable and just not developed besides pure evil) was to show that they were mega bad and mega powerful which didnt make sense at all. Could have just had everyone come back one last time for one big final battle.
@@Plants10000 Wish it was the case. Even during season 3, I don't get why they had to skip everyone, and how those bakugans even got a power level of 900? Speaking of, how and why Drago suddenly become Bakugans' origin? That completely contradict what the series has established

@@ath3392 yeah season 1 was good. season 2 was the perfect sequel that improved the show in every way and I adore it (only thing 1 did do better was that battles had a lot more strategy). then season 3 came around and it just got really dum and silly)

at least Specture kept Helios unlike the rest of the Brawlers which always aggravated me and I think that was a problem with the series overall.

Honestly I miss his wings and wish they gave him Darkus versions of his Pyrus abilities he originally had along the new powers.
@@treymykel For real man, I was so disappointed whenever Marucho and Shun just changed their Bakugans, it made me feel like they didn't care about their bakugans...both of them changed bakugans like it's a new smartphone.
I mean, I didn't bother that much in season 2 because it was something new but it annoyed me in season 3 and even more in season 4.
I kinda wish the series ended at season 3 (I have problems with the season but I personally find it enjoyable enough) or at least make season 4 a celebration of everything that was in previous seasons, bring back old friends and bakugans and don't split it in two parts and kill the old bakugans.

idk why people are bashing mechtanium surge. imo mechtogans are even cooler than bakugans lol
I dont blame you. Mechtanium Surge DID have potential imo, but the story could have been better fleshed out and it could have been given more depth and development like NV or GI. Despite its flaws I still believe the first half of MS is worth watching because the Mechtogan, like you said, are absolutely the peak of the shows CG work, almost out-weighting the mechanical bakugan from NV.
I believe Mechtanium Surge´s first half is... okay. Not terrible like most say. Its got stuff to like in it, but the parts that arent great REALLY arent great (like all of Dan´s friends turning against him over him getting mega cocky which sucked). Also, I really liked Anubias.
...All this cannot be said for the second half which yeah that one just plain sucks (besides the mechtogan and battles ig)
@@Plants10000 the character development in MS was good including Dan's problems, as they wanted to show life happens. But 2nd half MS was good too, cant bash it lol
