The oil or butter you would use for extract only has so much fat in it. The fat latches onto CBD/THC and only holds so much. so no you can't get high on hemp.

Hemp cbd is the same cbd as the stuff in what is legally called "marijuana" since it is the same plant but has low enough THC content to pass the 0.3% threshold to be considered legal. It just happens that we selectively bred "marijuana" to have lots of THC and selectively bred "hemp" to have less. When "hemp" is crossed with a strain of "marijuana" bred for large resin producing flowers you get large flowers and lots of CBD rather than THC. Cannabis is an amazing plant.

I work extracting cbd from hemp and use ethanol.. we use machines to evaporate ethanol from the oil. It is safe.

We test the material when we receive, before processing.. anything that test for hard metals or pesticides/herbicides are rejected...
