  • Howdy folks, here is an honest look at my earnings! I hope it helps you do far better than I have in my first 2 years of publishing on Amazon KDP.

    🌟 The Tools & Courses I Actively Use for KDP 🌟
    CURRENTLY NONE OF THESE ARE AFFILIATE LINKS. I JUST WANT TO HELP YOU WIN :)
    1. Helium 10's Cerebro Tool: shorturl.at/3zFYn
    Basically this tool helps you find the keywords your competitors are ranking STRONGEST for so you can use them in your titles, subtitles, and in your ads (Steal sales! Woohoo!)
    To buy JUST Cerebro (cheaper than buying a full subscription), try this:
    Create a free Helium 10 account, click your Helium 10 profile icon in the top right of your desktop screen, click "Plans & Billing", scroll down until you see the a la carte options, buy Cerebro! (It's way harder than it has to be, they want you to pay full price for the whole suite of tools, but this is the only one I can in good conscience recommend at this time!)
    2. Sean Dollwet's Royalty Hero Accelerator Program: www.royaltyher...
    This is the only paid course I've ever taken. It helped me learn a bajillion things about business, and most specifically, how to win a sustainable income as a KDP publisher. I owe so much to the people in this group, and I actively talk with them in our mastermind Facebook group. Very highly recommend (but before buying, read my note below!)
    Note About Sean's Course: it is pricey - almost $2k - so only go for it when you're ready to commit. I recommend you don't make the purchase as a spur of the moment thing - make up your mind first. There is also a 1 on 1 coaching track in the program that took me wayyyyy further than the course did on its own, and I highly recommend getting coached. But again, be aware that this is all pricey, so I recommend only do it if you are a) super rich and don't care about throwing money, or b) realize the pain of not starting is greater than the pain of trading time for money forever. If want to build sustainable income, and if you feel ready to give publishing a solid run, then pull the trigger and don't look back. Cheers

    I'm from Brazil, I liked your content and have already subscribed! I’ve made a few publications on Amazon KDP and received some small royalties. It can be challenging, but it's quite a profitable market, by the way.

    I’m new to KDP - just published my 1st book last week, running ads, but no sales yet. Still, I will keep publishing books and APPLY all the learnings along the journey 💪🏼🙏🏼. Thanks for inspiring.

      Let's go, Ryan!!! 3 pillars of making money in KDP:
      1. Publish more (high-quality) books
      2. Get a heap of reviews
      3. Run effective ads
      Do those 3 and the lessons all teach themselves to you. Rinse and repeat! Learned this 3 step process from Sean Dollwet FYI, I cannot take credit :)

      @@toby.demoss Thank you sir. I have lined up titles already (at least 10 titles until end of the year). I think getting reviews is one of my problem for a successful launch. I’m not sure if I should use Pubby. Can I ask? How do you set up friends and someone you know as your book reviewer? Do you buy the books for them and send it to their address using a different Amazon account? How does that work? Sorry, I have many questions sir… yup, I also watch his videos and learning a lot from you and him - Sean!

    Great video! Personally, I don't have a problem if I'm just breaking even with my ads. Through ad sales I get a better BSR, which increases my visibility and ensures organic sales.

    • @toby.demoss
      @toby.demoss  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey Phil! I assume you're referring to the idea of "don't buy sales"?
      Your break even method works in some cases, depending on how many organic sales are available in your niche. Glad it works for you! I should have clarified that these things I'm learning are not always one size fits all.

    Hey Toby, great content, your story is very inspiring. I've realized that Amazon ads are what are currently helping to build this business. I'm just curious if the purpose of this channel is to inspire us with the things that have worked for you or if you plan to create content about different topics in this business, because I think you have a lot to tell us about Amazon ads, both good and bad. Anyway, here is a new subscriber who is grateful to you for completely changing the approach he had to this business. Greetings and continue to inspire us...

      Hey Pedro!
      Great to have you, and great questions. So far the focus has been mostly for me to document my journey from $0 --> my first $1,000,000. The videos I make aren't on a regular basis, and that is on purpose - I typically only make a video when it feels like it is time to make one, for reasons such as I hit a new milestone or I'm learning something new. So yes, great point, thus far it has been more about inspiring and sharing my story to help people like you to believe it can be done for them too. I may create ads videos, and maybe I'll be more in depth on "how to" style videos. But for me, the business itself has to remain priority, and I find these story-based videos easier and more life-giving to create. I appreciate your feedback and may make videos on ads in the future! Do you have any specific ads videos you want to see? It is a broad topic. What would be the title of a KDP ads video you would want to watch?

    Hi what type of books you are publishing low content or high content?

    • @toby.demoss
      @toby.demoss  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hey Syed! I have published exclusively mid-content books. Word searches was my first brand, for example, but there are many types of mid-content books. They're more in-depth than blank journals and other low-content, but they're typically shorter than high content books. And great for gift giving, so they usually do well at holidays. Does that answer your question?
