- TNY266PN SMPS Switch Mode Power Supply Have No Output Voltage / IC Not Switching, How to Fix no power problem. i explained in urdu hindi language. TNY263P, TNY263G, TNY264P, TNY264G, TNY265P, TNY265G, TNY266P, TNY266G, TNY267P, TNY267G, TNY268P & TNY268G are TinySwitch-II family offline switching smps ICs to drive flyback toplogy, its switching frequency is 132KHz. Features
it Reduces System Cost becasue it uses very minimal components to design the switch mode power supply.
these are fully integrated auto-restart for short circuit and open loop fault
protection - saves external component costs
Built-in circuitry practically eliminates audible noise with ordinary dip-varnished transformer
Programmable line undervoltage detect feature prevents power on/off glitches - saves external components
• Frequency jittering dramatically reduces EMI (~10 dB)

TinySwitch™-II integrates a 700 V power MOSFET, oscillator, high voltage switched current source, current limit and thermal shutdown circuitry onto a monolithic device. The start-up and operating power are derived directly from the voltage on thenDRAIN pin, eliminating the need for a bias winding and associated circuitry. In addition, the TinySwitch-II devices incorporate
auto-restart, line undervoltage sense, and frequency jittering. An innovative design minimizes audio frequency components in the simple ON/OFF control scheme to practically eliminate audible noise with standard taped/varnished transformer construction. The fully integrated auto-restart circuit safely limits output power during fault conditions such as output short circuit or open loop, reducing component count and secondary feedback circuitry cost. An optional line sense resistor externally programs a line undervoltage threshold, which eliminates power down glitches caused by the slow discharge of input storage capacitors present in applications such as standby supplies. The operating frequency of 132 kHz is jittered to significantly reduce both the quasi-peak and average EMI, minimizing filtering cost.

Sir important and informative video. I have a question, most of the time I find sm transformer in LG split AC pcb is faulty that's rusted, it's primary winding resistance is 3.0 ohms and secondary is 0.4 ohms , so I am not getting transformer in the market. What is the another option to fix? Can I use 12 volt adaptor sm transformer? Please make a video and advice. Thank you.

Whenever I'm switching in DC Supply voltage(200vac) my system is working better but whenever I provide the 230vac then my MOSFET is going away ...and also
One more doubt i observed the voltage at the EN/UV pin is 0.486V but as per datasheet mentioned below 1V the switching will be terminated how I'm getting the output voltage and is it related to failure caused???? Kindly explain sir..I'm unable to get it🙏🙏
And also if I think transformer primary is getting shorted that's why the IC has failed even it is shorted as it has the current limit comparator how the IC is damaging????

Salam...sir mere pas panasonic ka home theater hai Us mai mip2f2 kharab hogyi thi wo mene change krdi wahan 5 volt to agye but us K main transformer ki switching ic strx6768 switching kar rahi hai series bulb mai lagane K baad starting mai bulb flactuate karta hai phr full short ho jata hai mene optocoupler pe voltages check kiye to us Ki photo led pe voltage nahi arahe but jab multimeter Tl431 ic ki reference pin pe positive probe or negative probe ground pe laga raha ho to IC perfect switching kar rahi hai ... mene optocoupler bhi change kr liye or tl431 bhi change kar li phr bhi same issue bana hoa hai .... sir kuch solution batye is ka ..... jazakallah
Meray smps k circuit mein tny 279pg uc laga hova hay. 12 volt ko 14.5 mein convert krnay k liay 12k resistance lagai. Ab smps on nhi ho raha. Fan chal k ruk jata hay. Over voltage protection ko kaisay disable kia jay...? What will be the solution to turn on the smps .....?

Hello Sir, I have problem in air conditioner pcb smps with switching ic TNY276PN. It gives supply for 1 to 3 min. after that stop the supply. No voltage obtain on drain pin after it stop working. I also replace the switching ic but same problem exist.
Pls reply what to do.
please re-solder smps transformer
check output side capacitors. some capacitor may be short circuit internally
