Hey wondering if you could help.
So building a rover platform RC.
Want to use the pixhawk.
Now when it comes to powering the pixhawk it takes a max 5v input.
So was wondering, if i used a step down converter (12v to 5v), would that make it fine for me to then connect the pixhawk to a 12v car battery for example?

yea pixhawk only needs 5v to power on

yea you can definitely use it , but my suggestion is if u are going to build with premium products then dont go with this flight controller , if u have tight budget then you can use it and it will work like a charm 🔥

No there is no problem you can easily buy it and have with it yea i can tell u one thing that it will more fun eith pixhawk than naza coz naza is blocked source fc and pixhawk open so u can customise more in this . Yea ik that in naza we get a better stability but pixhawk is also good not trash
