Thank you for taking the time to post this update! I've been pursuing getting an agent in the US for a few reasons but you just cemented that I should keep applying. I hope you get more work soon and things go well for the rest of the year!
Hi Ezgi, just giving what feedback I can incase it's helpful to you. I'm not signed yet but I have gotten feedback and responses from agencies and agents. My shortest response took a month and my longest took 3 months. Feedback ranged from a standard form rejection letter with them not looking for new artists to personal feedback on how to improve my portfolio for resubmission. It is a goal of mine to get signed since I prefer to have others handle the business side of things but I have accepted that it's definitely a long term goal and a lot is out of my control, so I just do my best and put myself out there. Hope this helps and best of luck on your journey!
@@ToniGajadhar Hello Toni! How sweet of you and thank you for your kind reply. I received responses saying that they liked my work, but that they would not hire new artists for now, but that they would keep me in their records, or that my work was not suitable for their agencies. But most of the agencies have not got back to me yet. It's been a month and I'm about to lose hope :'( I'd like to take a look at your portfolio if you share it with me. Artists help artists. We can review each other's work :')
@@ezgialtun9634 aww sorry you're feeling down about it! I nearly gave up a few times too but I stuck it out and got a few freelance jobs which was very encouraging, but this agency process really does take a while. Definitely yes to the reviews lol. Just search my name for my portfolio site and I'll do the same for you. I'll search for you on insta too and add you there to message you.

When do illustration agents get back to a submission? After 1 month, should I give up hope?
