Oh Grace that was such a generous thing to do for someone you will never meet! My sister has had two bouts with cancer and lost her hair both times and was so grateful to have wigs to wear. You will make some little girl so proud because you have such beautiful hair!!! Your parents made a really good choice where to donate your hair also because unlike the other place Wigs for Kids never charges for the wigs. This video made my heart feel so good!! Thanks for sharing!!

That is such an amazing gift for other children especially, one of our identical twins suffers from alopecia and was diagnosed in 2011 when all of a sudden she begin losing her hair. We search out a lot of organizations that made wigs affordable for children and where surprise to turn up empty handed. So glad to know of this foundation. My son has cancer, (he is not a kid, he is 25) but he may loose all his hair...he has his first chemo treatment last week in Dana Farber Cancer Center in Boston, (it is about 3 hours away from us.one way) we saw little children in strollers who were very sick with cancer. That's an honorable thing for her to do. Wish we had know of them before our daughter did it. We found out afterwards that the company we donated too, charged the kids for them.

hello i als56 ears young o donated mine I had throat cancer and I told ever 1 I wasn't cutting it till I was clear & with the help of the lord I was able to beat it so I got to donate 8 & half inches took me 2 years to grow it that long & i'm 56 years young ( my capital key don't work it so bums me old)
