Imaginary/mashup version assembled from solo and Beatle recordings. George: lead vocals and guitars John: organ and backing vocals Paul: bass and backing vocals Ringo: drums
Great mashup and mix! I always felt Paul was right on the edge of finding another legendary melodic bassline akin to "Something," if only they did some more takes and formally recorded it. You can hear some cool themes and riffs trying to poke through.
Man I’m so upset they couldn’t do this. Missed out on another legendary Beatles song. it would’ve made Let it Be a better album. That album doesn’t get a lot of respect, but All Things Must Pass definitely would’ve elevated it. Plus it would’ve been another great George song, to boost his Beatles resume even more.
Wow! This is is a massive upgrade from your previous mix! The harmonies aren’t overpowering like your first take. It really does sound like something that could’ve appeared on a more stripped back album like Get Back! All it’s missing is a hypothetical George Martin orchestra. Very, very well done!
Thank you very much!! Yes, this time I think the backing vocals are a bit more balanced in the mix, I also mixed the electric guitar and organ a little more upfront.
@@jalesait7836 It should be added to the next edition of LET IT BE. Great job. Have you considered isolating the vocals and mixing them into George's solo album version?
@@jalesait7836 Back in the '80s a Beatlemaniac friend mixed The Beatles version of All Things Pass onto George's by making it the intro and cutting into the solo version at the first big crescendo that comes after those lyrics occur in the solo version. As I recall, the difference in pitch was a challenge to overcome. He also made me a Revolution version that added John's intro scream version (w/no bom shoobie doo waps) to Paul's intro scream single version, but included the video version doo waps vocals. No one else has ever combined all three (the single version, the Hey Jude album version, and the video version).
Sublime mix, and I agree with others that this is now the best "Beatles" version of this song. I also have a particular fondness for this picture, also used for your regrettably taken-down "Now & Then". It was used alongside "I'm So Tired" at the end of the Compleat Beatles documentary to illustrate the break-up and had them fading away, one by one. My mind visualized that happening slowly, through the course of this song.
Thank you so much!!... You're right about the Compleat Beatles ... I remember very well that particular scene!! I've watched that documentary many many times when I was a teenager, back in the late 80s! Great memories!!
Very good. It's a pity George's voice breaks a couple of times in the middle eight, which detracts from what is otherwise an excellent song and a wonderful mix/mash-up.

The best song they never recorded ...What about using the vocal from Anthology 3 ??
they did record it, but never released it.

@@gordonmorris6359 Thanks!! I take your suggestion. Maybe I'll try it someday.

this is probably the best full band mix of this song i’ve heard! nice work!
Thank you!!👍👍
I love the softness you have made of this song, much better. It's one of my favorite Harrison's songs. ty!
God the chorus is so great in this!
This should be included in the next edition of LET IT BE.
I hated in “Get Back” how they dismissed this song. It would have been a perfect send off song for them as a band.
You mean the other Beatles? I don’t think they did. Harrison wasn’t satisfied with it
This is so beautiful. Thanks for creating this.
Excellent job. Keep posting your bea works
Thank you!!👍
Its a shame we never got a beatles version of this song. But i'm glad we're at least able to get versions like this. Good work!
Thanks!! Much appreciated!!👍👍
what are you talking about? the beatles recorded this song.try buying some of their bootlegs.
@@archangelmusic13 No they didnt they recorded some run throughs of it. But never a full on version. Thats what this is composed of.
@@chaseb5376 when they all played on it i call that a full version.and they did that.
@@archangelmusic13 well it’s not.

Iamaphoney’s version is still the best version of Now and Then, even after the official release, imo. McCartney didn’t have right feel for it
This whole Rare Stamps album is awesome! Great job!
Thank you so much!
Nice job
Another great track.
This is amazing, thank you! ❤
WOW 💖💖💖
SUBLIME... NOTHING MORE!!! CONGRATULATIONS!
This easily could have been one of Paul's greatest bassline, similar to something.
Listen to "Two Ghost" by Harry Styles, which I believe the progression was taken originally from this song.
Fine job 👏🏻
De lo más lindo de los Beatles lastima que no salió en ningún álbum.
Esto es genial 👏👏🥺
Beautiful Job you should work for Apple.
Thank you!!👍👍

this starts off song w/isn't it a pity instruments?
It's all from George's demo (1970) and Jan 1969 rehearsals of All Things Must Pass.
