    Nice one Paul
One of the better drone clips. Thank you.
Loved the angles, views, music and editing. Nicely done.
If you ever find there's a really low tide, I'd appreciate any clips from the air of tree stumps in the sea.
As I understand it, the remnants of 6,000 year old forests occasionally get uncovered from the sand (like at Hightown), before the action of the sea on the exposed trees decomposes them and they are gone. I'm told these old forests ran right down the coast to Wales at the end of the last ice age when the seas were much lower because of being in ice and snow on the land.
Anyway, thanks for a great video.
My Grandparents who passed away in the 60's lived here and I have schoolboy memories of their house - somewhere! They would have loved to ave seen this!
    Cheers.

Interesting ! I lived there for 10 yrs and never saw the beach like this . The tide is coming in further each year,The caravan site that used to be in the dunes in Formby ( just down the coast ,is now two miles out at sea. I remember a big storm one year that removed some of the dunes here, revealing three Viking ship hulks Another storm put the sand back Never excavated as far as I know We have a viking history along this coast.( as a P,S a relative of mine built half of old Ainsdale along the main road to the station ...loved the place...never wanted to leave)

Hello Paul, hope you're well! I'm a researcher at Tern TV and I'm currently working on Britain's Wildest Weather for Channel 4. This is such a beautiful clip. Would you be happy for us to potentially use it on this year's programme? You can also contact me at aneesah.hussain@terntv.com for more information. Hope to hear from you soon! All the best, Aneesah.
