Actually, yeah, he's definitely corny at times. It's a lot of whining about this and that and how his mom still doesn't love him. I fuck with him big time but no doubt he has corny lyrics sometimes. The thing is tho, I think he's aware when they're corny.

The true fact that ‘artists’ are now judged on their social media presence above their music and ability is why I don’t listen to new music anymore, and haven’t done for some time. Adam 22 fuels this. Fair play to him for doing his thing and making a living from it, but I can’t get on board. Interesting content as ever though Crook

I don't have a social media presence just been rapping. May start to build one though but my focus is the music even if I do start to gain a following. The focus should be the art so you have something tangible to market.

So I guess he gonna have Joe Budden up there since Joe had him on the Pull Up series? Great content from Crook nonetheless.

tbh you can’t eliminate the bundle because if a artist is selling something like a shirt and the album comes with then to a fan why just get the album when i can get both

To expand on what Crooked I Was saying about lyricist and how people don’t give Pac enough credit , He’s so right. Yes it’s important to be lyrically skilled but some artists are also understanding that it’s important to have a message sometimes too. I think Ice Cube, Snoop and 2pac are good examples of three rappers that can all freestyle very well, there are old TH-cam clips that you can see with snoop and Tupac free styling for like 20 minutes but that doesn’t make a good song. They are very good at understanding especially back then that it was the song business and to make a successful record and something that people are going to remember it’s important to have good song structure too. That doesn’t mean they can’t freestyle or they don’t have bars it just means that they understand the importance of making a legendary song. And here we are over 25 years later and all of those 2Pac songs are legendary. Not only is it something that stays in peoples head and they can sing along to it but it’s also a powerful message and I think that’s missing a lot in today’s hip-hop.
