You don't want to be hurt by a thing like that 😂 Well... never a good idea to be hurt by a train but you see what I mean lol! And you're right, we're very lucky in Belgium because we have the densest train network in the world, it's like almost 4000 km 😅
I knew you would like this museum. I wish I had a better camera for the low lit rooms because I don't think I was able to capture the beauty of all the trains like I wanted. One of my favorite museums in Belgium.
I go to Brussels so many times per year! Never been to Schaarbeek museum! Looks impressive! I am going to York this summer. Will visit the train museum there. thanks for showing us

11:10 these hats are the same all around Belgium. But they change with the years. Every function has another hat. For example, a train guard's hat has the opposite colors than a station master
Makes total sense and I love that they put so much detail. Also very useful for people working in the field as they know exactly what that person's position is at the station or train by just looking at the hat.
@@TheDavidNeytsShow yes. They used to be orange but changed to blue in 2020. I like how they still use hats. Dutchbrailways for example doesn't use hats anymore, so I'm happy that we still follow this tradition.
