Looking for a virtual spinner you can use to play these games with your students? We have tutorials on our channel for how to use Wheel of Names and Flippity! Wheel of Names- th-cam.com/video/lThCb6BrVXQ/w-d-xo.html Flippity- th-cam.com/video/asFtyfvf1ZI/w-d-xo.html
Good tip, thank you. I used to play such games with kids in my in-person classes with a piece of paper and a pin and they had to flick the pin to randomly choose a word to make a sentence with or answer a question, it's a fun way to get all the kids involved in learning process, but these virtual spinners are even better☺
Hi Meghan! Loved this video and many others. I needed your help. Can you help me with topics that you read on a constant basis? Like you mentioned in one of your videos saying one needs to stay updated on change in curriculum norms and guidelines... so is there a source that can keep me informed and updated about the changes ? I am reading out NCF ( National curriculum framework) applicable in India. But any other source which could be informative ? Also, I am going in for this interview for curriculum developer.. what are the questions that are likely to be asked?
Hi! As far as resources that help me stay up to date, there is not just one resource that I use. The biggest thing is remaining in constant communication with teachers and administrators so that I always know what is happening in the school. I also stay up to date on current events and policies related to education and follow the DOE and state DOE websites closely. For interview questions, they will likely ask you about standards and learning models, philosophy of education, and the processes you use for creating curriculum and assessments.
