Hey, I made a less "midi-dead" version of this by setting velocity values for every note thus giving it some sort of dynamic progression. I quoted you in the credits and all just wanted you to know and didn't know a better way to contact you than just writing a comment in this video. Hope you see it and like what I've done.
Well I didn't write this and expected this to be possible, yeah most parts are but some parts.. aren't. And I didn't write this in a professional way, just a more-so shoddy way but it gets it done.
Most of the parts are actually playable, as I have done so myself, however like Joshua Hart said, there are some, although very few just not possible parts
Case in point: 9:10 As if the transition from Stepping Solo B to Breaker Solo wasn't bad enough. And this arrangement feels underarranged. I'd like to see someone attempt this though. I saw someone do relatively well with 1/16th notes at 222.22 BPM (Freedom Dive), and you should never underestimate what someone with too much time on their hands can do.
Do you write this as a realistic Black MIDI style of music, or was it just underarranged for a person? Either way, it's a great song for a beginner composer!
I didn't get this from a MIDI, if I were to it would take faaaar too long and it's just not a way to do it, so you'd typically do it by ear and just go from there.
@@PT-vy1sw Thanks for the reply! I knew it was original, I was just wondering if it was in that "really cool but nearly impossible" style they are known for. Because most of it seems doable except a few parts, but overall loved it tbh.
Well the top and bottom line change between treble and bass pretty often mainly because I wanted the piece to be organized and not have 2 different bass parts on one line. The reason why I made this is because I was purely just bored and I really loved the song, seeing how complex some parts are I enjoyed making it.
I don't I feel like it would be better to just organize it for hands so it mimics a piano score, cause it's confusing to view a piano score with bass on top and treble on bottom. Possibly even renotating some parts to make it more possible cause those fast triplets and sextuplets are like impossible to play. I mean, you've already stripped it of some of the notes because if you look at ExileLord's videos with the piano roll along with the guitar hero notes there are far more notes than you put in. Of course this was only a real concern if you wanted to see someone play it in real life. Idk I guess it just loses some of the appeal if it wasn't made for playability.
Sounds nice man. I heard you're taking music theory now, good. It's important to know the rules about the key signatures, accidentals etc. (referring to the minor mistakes you had in your sheet). I've taken theory classes for 6-7 years and It's cool to know stuff. Can't fucking speak English tho holy shit my sentences are wack.

Y’all know how Beethoven had like 7 symphonies. Well I like to think that Exilelord is the modern day Beethoven with his soulless 1-5
Soulless 3 was the first one that sounded like a real song, soulless 1 and 2 were only intended to be hard on guitar hero.
I would agree but soulless 2 doesn't sound good and soulless 1 doesn't even sound like a song
Beethoven had 9 symphonies...

my guy the piece is in c minor, not c major with a bunch of accidentals
