If "Windows" isn't cutting it for editing, you're wrong. Pick some other editing software. Use DaVinci Resolve for a starting point to try something different - it's free (and it's made by Blackmagic so it's not a load of crap)
Have you looked into DaVinci Resolve as an editing suite in lieu of Premiere. It’s much better optimized and you don’t have to bend over and take it in the bottom to have the privilege of using Adobe’s creative cloud. Also supports the new Ryzen line of CPU’s and threadripper processors that absolutely run circles around the other hardware options for multithreaded work loads.
What was the need to get a whole new MacBook though? I thought you had two MacBooks already including a full spec 15? Unless you sold it when you got the XPS
Maybe if you swap the seating position for the Tech Flow videos to face the opposite direction. That way you can show the ceiling architecture and you can have like a pair of editing rigs and nano leaf in the background.

i bought my first ever apple product - MBP 16", i learnt of an app iStat2 which shows me the CPU temperature and also battery health.. it says my battery health is 97% which apparently dropped in a week from 99%. Is this normal with a MBP? or should i return it? anyone?? any suggestions?
You could try DaVinci Resolve, it was bought by BlackMagic in 2014 and it’s super good and really stable, only problem is it’s kind of hard switching your entire video workflow from Premiere or FCP over to it, other than that, it’s a great option, I’ve tried it, it feels stable, works super well, however I’m still not willing to switch from Premiere Pro.

Go to settings in premier pro set auto save to 2 minutes that way you won’t lose an hour of your day duh
2 mins is excessive, can get in the way of actually editing, 10 or 15 mins is reasonable, and what I have mine set to.
I got mine set to 4 minutes because as Mark Morris, it’s too excessive.
