Thanks, dude. I used a Epiphone SG G400, a handcrafted Tube Screamer made by a friend of mine and an Orange Dual Terror (Sorry, I don’t remember what cabinet I used here). When I have free time I’m gonna do some 3 random Dystopia songs and drop on this channel.
good job. love playing this song. did you slap fat strings on that guitar to downtune or use something like pitchproof or digitech drop? still wondering how mauz did it, some people say he used a pitchshifter, but i'm not sure if that was to downtune. i'm having mad troubles tuning my guitars down to a, might have to get one of them setup for it i guess.
Thanks, dude. In fact, Mauz did all Dystopia records downtuning “manually”, no tuning-shifter or drop pedals were used to record albums/playing live. They used A standard in all their materials, except some songs that a “A-microtonal tuning” is used, not in conventional A440 (440hz/Pitch standard). In this case, I did not use any of these pedals to downtune recording this cover, and all the recording/mix process was fully analog.
gotta love the "keep it as raw and analog as practically possible" mindset...DIY ts clone, tube orange amp(im not a tube purist but lets be honest they DO sound better than most solid-state ones) and im guessing you mic'd up a real cab instead of doing the attenuator/DI+digital cab impulse response bullshit, i might be wrong but sounds like a real cab and mic...btw did you write down tabs? if so im sure many people including me would highly appreciate it.
never mind the tabs took me 10 mins to learn it from the video thanks to good lighting and camera angle, you really did the song justice with the great guitar playing, tone and video quality
@@nimimaadii5263 Correct. No digital processings or so, pure organic analog recording. Only captured the cab sound in the mic and directed straight to the Hallen Heath, no punch-ins or whatever.
@@nimimaadii5263 dude i cant get it for the life of me it wont sound right is the first riff all on the A and D string? or is it also on the D and G string?
I’ve figured out all Dystopia songs that I know by ear, and unfortunately I don’t have too much free time to do a tab. But any questions about it or any song on S/T, The Aftermath or Human = Garbage that you have any doubts, I can help you out, just hmu.

Sick ass cover man, i'm begging you to make more dystopia covers. You mind telling what gear you use? The tone is crazy!

Do you find dystopia to use both false chord and fry scream? I really like their vocals but am unsure what technique to practice
i can’t speak for mauz, but i’m pretty sure dino is just using his actual scream
yeah for dino's vocals just shout really loud

What’s the chord you play in the intro 0:56 ? Please and thank you
If I'm not mistaken, I only kept the "Em" chord shape (Am, in fact, because it's played in A standard) and then stroke B/E strings together.
Qual afinação?
Lá standard.
Dependendo da música, Mauz usava uma afinação fora do padrão A4 (440hz), mas em lá também.
