Madden got so complicated. I just bought the game after a 10 year break. I'm still pretty good surprisingly. I actually managed to win an ultimate team game. Sadly it seem everyone that's been playing for the time I took off know a bunch of goto plays and will only run the same 5-6 plays a game. That's not football. The only advantage I have is I play so unconventional it's throwing people off. I appreciate your tips video for reasons like this.

Haven’t finished it just yet, I just wanted to add on a little for Tip 16, if you play franchise you can go into your coaching tab and select “Formation Subs” and go to all your formations and add a safety to any of the formations you want to use them in. It’s also helpful if you want to split carries between RBs. Only a tip for Franchise, but it helps save time in game.
Eric doesn’t do a ton of tip videos but when he does it’s so good and always helpful every year! I have never tried a play or concept from this guy that wasn’t spot on.

Usually if there’s 3 or more wr’s you want to be in nickel, if there’s two rb you want to be in your base 4-3 or 3-4 defense, if there’s two te’s, usually want to be in your base unless it also says 2rb in which case go to your base 4-3 or 3-4. That the simplest explanation

It has a good mix of 3-4 and 4-3 plays/formations. And it has a pretty unique Formation in it called 5-2, which I’ve found to be good for both pass and run defending, I believe the only other playbooks it is in is the Jets and 49ers.

I don’t know if this the right video to comment on. But On create a player the throwing Motion doesn’t we’re relate on this road. I like selecting slinger 1 which is the Aaron Rodger throwing motion. When I play with my create player doesn’t have the have the Aaron Rodger motion. Do you know if EA going to update this bug?
Good video. Keep in mind, some if the most popular online franchise leagues are simulation style leagues. Meaning certain things aren't allowed. Such as manually moving multiple players on defense prior to the snap. If you manually move a player pre-snap, you have to remain with that player until after the snap. Also, you're not allowed to substitute LB's with safeties...

I’m from the UK, no knowledge on American football and no idea how it works. Madden 23 is the first madden I’ve ever bought and I’m hooked.

You got to make your own playbook bro it takes a lil bit but is way worth it you get 500 plays and any formation
