Ruby (candle queen) is born to become the next queen of the Flower Realm, but on her coronation day, the castle suddenly was set on fire by someone, and the person behind of this evil behavior is Lilac (the lavender girl).
Lilac is Ruby's little sister, because of her jealousy, Lilac craved to become the next heir of Flower Realm, therefore she burned down the whole castle, hoping that no one would able to make it out.
After the incident, Lilac had became the queen of the Flower Realm, the flower queen, like she wanted. But what our flower queen don't know is that, Ruby luckily survived and is still alive. Ruby also met a mystery woman that helped her, but some how the unknow woman knew Ruby REAL NAME, which is Eliane and her power. The woman starts to teach Ruby to control her power, how to use it, technically helping Ruby to take revenge.
And...the rest I guess y'all know it, Ruby became the candle queen blah blah blah •w•

2 I have another theory for what's going on- just made it for fun :D
Ok so elaine comes from another universe that was attaked and to save her her mother transported her into this universe. She was adopted by the queen and king in this universe along with another girl (lilac). Elaine was too traumitized to speak so her parents just decided to name her ruby because of her red hair. Ruby was the favorite child and lilac got more jealous of her everyday. Lilac eventually runs away so ruby (elaine) was automatically chosen to be the next ruler. But her sister comes back and burns the castle down on coronation day, attempting to kill ruby. But ruby escapes. Another girl heals her and she knows ruby's real name because she is also a survivor of the attack in the other universe. She helps ruby train and have full control over her power. When the girl relieses ruby's power is run on anger she tells ruby to let her anger take over. Time skip - ruby confronts lilac who does not want to give up the easy way and ruby ends up killing her. Nobody knew why lilac died that day. Ruby rules the kingdom and nobody knows about her little secret except for the other girl. The end.

Okay so I obviously saw your description, and you wanted a theory so here you goz: One the blue haired lady who trained her could be the candle queen or was close to her when she was alive, making her say the quote from the book, or she might just be the ruler of water? The way she could have gotten the candle queens power was by the power being transferred to her so she could become the next candle queen. Another theory I have is that the candle queen did actually have heirs to the throne but hid them from society, and the main character (one who we saw in the last scene), could be a direct descendant of the candle queen herself. Or then again it could have been reincarnation, but that’s a bit lame. Lastly the person we saw turn around could possibly be the candle queen as a ghost/spirit, and what she is doing in this scene is saving her from the fire and trusting the blue haired lady to train and care for her. Then she discovers the book and her new found powers. :)
