A homeowner here. I installed a sound cover over my compressor in my Trane condenser that is extremely tall. I leaned in headfirst and struggled to keep from falling in. Never thought about getting in. However, at my age I doubt I could have made it out. Good for you that you could do that. Enjoy your Thanksgiving.

The old Rheem wire rub out on one of the pressure switches. I've repaired many of those in the last few years. When I do a PM on these units I make sure I look for potential issues, and I do find a surprising amount too. Thanks for the video, and Happy Thanksgiving.

I pay for quarterly inspections, even though they are getting pticy now that I receive a list of potential faulty EXPENSIVE parts. I’m in California where everything is expensive. And at 83 years old, I do not want to screw anything up, and need additional owner caused repairs. 👍
thermostat yellow wire is compressor fan (you checked the yellow and the red?blue?). You checked the contactor, low voltage ohms. You then found out it was the low pressure wires and you checked the high pressure wires.

I've even used a scrap piece of A/C pipe insulation in a situation similar to this before.
