Best episode of V. Lydia kicked Diana’s ass. I always crack up with laughter when Lydia sprays Diana in the face. There really wasn’t any competition as Lydia has the upper hand by being Head of Security and a warrior as where Diana is a scientist.
Scenes like this nowadays looks a bit silly and quite funny... but they belong to the best treasure of my memories ever. Greetings from Italy to all V lovers all over the planet.
Well, the last season of V was the worst. It looked like some kind of soap opera like Dynasty with bitches' catfights fighting for power and men, lower budget and poor scripts.

It gave us everything! big hair, big shoulder pads and catty overdramatic speeches with a cheesy fight.
Diana and Lydia are cool villians. You have to love them. I know it was fun for these two fabulous actresses to play them.

I vividly remember seeing the advertisement to this episode on NBC back in the day when they were showing this on that network! When i saw Diana and Lydia battling it out on the advertisement i couldn't wait to see this episode and i loved it. I was so glad to see Lydia win, Diana was so pushy,evil and cocky. She needed to have seen and felt what it was like to be without power for a change!

Trust me on this. But before the episode aired, NBC very heavily promoted it. And it was well worth it.
I hated how they made Diana look weak in this fight. Did the writers assume the audience would be cheering for Lydia?

I'm still looking through the clips, but is there one of just before this where Diana brags that she's never lost a battle to the death and Lydia says that's obvious because otherwise she'd be dead?

Apparently, since they were twin brothers, they were given the same human disquise, so people can know they are twin. Makes sense, isn't it?

Diana was my first crush..I couldn't wait for Friday nights..I bought some V episodes on DVD but Lydia wasn't on them..I bought v the series and also v the final battle..unless they edited the hell out of alot of content..or maybe there was another one I missed..either way I remember when this fight took place..I thought diana was gonna kick some butt.

Al estar como científica militar Diana tendría el entrenamiento básico. Pero tienes razón en que Lydia sería superior al ser militar de carrera.
El punto fuerte de Diana es la intriga y traición, pero cara a cara Lydia es claramente mejor.

I remember watching V The Original Series on Friday nights back in the '80s. The show could have prospered and grew had NBC didn't give it the ax by March 1985. I even bought several V paperback books based on the TV series. The combat between Diana and Lydia reminded me of Spock and Kirk's fight to the death in "Amok Time." Diana looks so cute and sexy with the KISS-styled facepaint. I think this episode was titled "The Champions(?)." Is there any full episodes of V on TH-cam?

This is a basic rip off of Star Trek. I mean come on, if anyone doesn't see the similarities they are blind. I think it was cool that they helped resurrect the genre, for a generation. I grew up during this era and this era was the King of Cheese.
Not sure how I felt about all the backstory for Alien lifestyles and history.
