- What's it like to have a traditional wedding in Japan? Since my mom wasn't able to attend our actual wedding due to boarder closures, we held a special Japanese style wedding just for her. Join us for our honeymoon and see my mom finally meet my husband here in Tokyo!

I have never met his family due to covid. 10 days ago his mother and grandmother came to visit us and I met them for the first time. Today we told them goodbye as they were going back to Tokyo! I hope to visit them in Japan soon!

Don't you feel bad about contributing to the extinction of women with European appearances like you? Don't you feel bad that you are contributing to the extinction of your European facial features, wavy blonde hair, light eyes, Europid facial bone structure, small lips, narrow high bridged nose,lovely light skin? You do realize that when you have children they will not resemble you? They will not have your European appearance. They will look Asian like their father. It breaks my heart that you so casually choose to wipe out your own people with a smile on your face.

Back to the beginning of the formal together. Your Mom was finally able to gain access to Japan and a striking remarriage takes place. Your Kimono's were well chosen and colorful. Laughs were had, and now both sets of in-laws will meet. Since both sets of parents have embraced their offsprings choice, I suspect the meeting to go very well. @@OrientalPearl Ouch, that hardly seems fair. You make such great content, it's worth way more than a 3 minute attention span. But that's just my opinion since I'm used to watching 20-30 minute videos. It's just what I gravitate towards personally.

I just downloaded Pimsleur and even after just one lesson, I’m in love with it. I don’t have much time to sit down and practice Japanese, but on the drive to and from work and I can get through a lesson. I was speaking within the first few minutes of using it. Thanks for the recommendation!

@@OrientalPearl I was trying other services, which I think helped primed me to understand the sounds and pronunciation used in Japanese, but I felt like speaking would get me more motivated. Knowing that I can understand a basic conversation after just half an hour on Pimsleur is all I need to keep myself motivated.
