Great to see Louie & Lola yarn on your podcast. I've been using them now for over a year and love their colourways. We're so fortunate here in Australia to have so many amazing indie dyers and fortunately I live in an area cold enough to wear plenty of knitted garments. Great to see you'll have a DK weight sock pattern soon. I'd just followed the 4ply one and adlibbed following small size but with 8ply and 3.00/3.25mm needles. Good luck with the bricks and mortar shop space. I'm also another who doesn't use social media so FB or Instagram just doesn't happen for me.
Congratulation on you office space. I did one pair of sock. Found a friend is expecting in Dec. So I had to crochet a blanket for her. Then my daughter in law is due in Jan. So after next month I have to finish a quilt. I have the top made. Just to have to quilt and put the binding. Then I have other things I have plan on making. I want to try another pair of sock. I have so many things in my pot right now.
I am so excited to see the Drunk Yarn Home Dye kit. I've been contemplating trying to dye some yarn with my husband and having a kit with basically everything included is awesome!!!!! Here comes another level to knitting & knitting socks.🤭🤭🤭

Bewitched Pigments has a "Practical Magic" colorway too! It's inspired by the colors on the Practical Magic softcover and so gorgeous. I read the book and watched the movie for the first time knitting with it! So much fun.
HA! I got back into the Sock Thing, found that newer fingering wt is a bit smaller than what I used 20 +/- yrs ago. During month of June (Camp), I knit & ripped so many times,wouldn't fit, etc etc. Solutions: 1) 2 strands thin fingering on US2 needle, 60 sts and 2) single strand w US0 with 80 sts. 2 strands / DK socks fly !! off the needles... My new fave for thinner fing... Congratulations on the New Shop!!! Good Luck! Love the idea of highlighting Indie Dyers!

So I bought white cotton DK weight to make socks from. I'm planning on tie dye for the socks after they're completed. :-) they'll will be nice socks for around the house.
Thanks for showing your Dk socks and for reminding me that holding fingering double means speedy socks…definitely great for tromping through the snow or keeping feet warm on fall camping trips.
