4321 then none, this scenario with gambian building contractors is all over the country bar the very few, most cannot manage budgets you have to manage yourself and never give them money to purchase your materials only pay workmanship, I had same experiences when first moving here but soon learnt quickly
BAG this almost happened to me. I wanted to run back to the elution because I get screwed over by a contractor. We agreed on a price. We signed a contract then at the end, the guy used up all the money and wanted more money to complete the phase. I told him he is not going to get anymore money until he finish the job. He terminate the contract. Now we are in court, because he had nothing much to show for the money we gave him do to the job. The contractor is an American and his youtube chanel is PVTV Gambia. He have the gift of the gab. I am just warning anyone. Just beware. Go and buy your own materials like BAG said don't trust people with your money.
