Hello everyone! In this video I will show you where I come from, my house and yard, landscape and forests. I will also take you to an abandoned stone house in the forest that was built in the 1950s. The stone house is located in a wooded mountain area on a plot of 2.5 ha and is owned by me. I have big plans to restore the old stone house and restore its soul. This is the first part of a series on the restoration of an old stone house, and for such a project it is necessary to introduce power and motor tools to make the job easier, considering that I am working alone. So you will see how I cleared the bushes and trees that disturbed the statics of the house and thus facilitated access for the future works that I am planning. Don't worry about the trees I had to cut down, I will plant a lot of new ones because that's how I do it, if I cut down then I plant. This will be a wonderful trip with many surprises where you will learn construction techniques that you normally don't see on bushcraft channels. I hope you will support this off-grid project that you are entering with me, be patient, and I will entertain you and take you to the world of dreamers who want to live in the forest.

I had my 70th birthday the 18th an had alot of fun with my family!!!! Instead of cake I had carmal cheese cake. My daughter made it so good. An Luxon I now have 8 new baby pitties!!!! Спасибо за просмотр! Раньше здесь были виноградники и пастбища. Дом использовался для хранения вина и отдыха от работы. Это не обои, а мотивы, вдавленные в стену с помощью валика. Нет, они не были бедными. Увидимся в пятницу.

I watch your videos with my two little kids (2 & 3.5 years), and we love talking about what you're doing. My daughter (the older one) keeps asking where your dog is when off-screen. The work you're doing is really enjoyable to watch, but the way you put it together makes it all seem so peaceful, and the kids fall asleep watching you build. This episode is of Living Off Grid is going to be fantastic. Love the quaint cottage in the forest. By the time you work your magic on it. You will have an awesome little cabin in the woods. Off Grid. A Lil TLC by a master craftsman is all it needs to come alive again. You and your dog can reap the healthy benefits of sun, clean air, rainfall, no smoke other than from the debris pile while cleaning, & clearing out the rotten timbers to rebuild your cottage. What a gem. This house/home is incredible. You see campers finding something like this but they just go through it, you're making it into a home. All of my grandparents were immigrants from Italy and Ukraine. This reminds me of their farm building where they would process crops and make wine. Looking forward to this build.

The beginning of any new project is exciting. From finding the new building, mentally planning what the end goal is to look like and how it will function, clearing a working area, demolition of parts damaged or in the way, gathering materials and all the rest is invigorating. I came across this series by accident and I don't regret that I started watching all the videos. So, the house looks amazing. Limestone, limestone mortar, tiles and hand-made roof frame beams. It all seems so medieval, even though the house is about seventy years old. I also liked the interesting layout, caused by the fact that the house was built on a slope and a cellar was created from part of the lower floor. I wish the author success in the restoration of the house, although when I write this comment he has made very good progress without my wishes, haha.

What a nice new project you'd begun with this old stone house! I wish you all the best for success, it will be a lot of work for a longer time period. This way of making, work and resting from "civilisiation' is a dream of me for a long time, but I unfortunately havn't the chance for doing it that way. For that, I'm living in a poor country...
So - I have to wait for your exiting next video clips on this project, which let me fly away in my dreams of beeing there.

I was so excited to watch Episode 1 of your new project. I will tell you though, it brought me to tears when I closed my eyes and listened to the birds, and the sounds of the forest, and your footsteps walking thru the house over the crunchy gravel and wood chips. I had on my headphones, and just closed my eyes to listen, and was transported back to being a little girl when my dad would be building something. What a sweet memory! I can't wait to see what you will make out of this lovely little spot!

@@davidvaughn7752 I was surprised myself the first time I watched one of his videos. The one he built on that little ledge of land under an outcropping of rock. He put in a wooden, raised floor, an oven/stove, open shelving, a fold-away table, and a bench/bed, and a cozy little spot for his puppy right by the fire! It was the most wonderful little shelter, tucked right out of the way. I think using the old fashioned hand tools too, makes me think of my dad, because that was what he started out with as a young man.

That house is so fascinating, as are most buildings left to decay over time. It was actually built when I was just 7 years old, and I can't help but wonder what it looked like then. That corner heater/stove is intriguing, as is the fact that you could put a heater just about anywhere in such a stone structure without worrying about burning the place down. It will be interesting, and fun, to see your progress as you go along. Best of luck to you.
