nicely presented Damien, you might want to remind people that the rubber boots have holes in the top that might let water and crud in if they do not have top hats fitted, an alternative to the top hats might be gluing some sort of gauze over the holes as suggested by Mike Beck
That is a good point, I did forget to mention that as I was focusing on the internal reseal itself. James does sell the boots without holes with the expectation people make their own. I personally just made them pinholes rather than larger holes to prevent water getting in.
