Now this isn't a song I thought they'd play at this show but I'm so here for it, I've always thought Desecrate Through Reverence is one of the more underrated songs from Waking The Fallen and I'm glad they finally played it again after 20 years.
@trashboat4731 yea that's vocal distortion not screamo...sure he can scream but to do screamo it has a certain technique to it...matt blew up his voice during the early ax7 era & nearly couldn't sing ever...after he had that surgery plus therapy for his vocal cord...plus the songs they created they rely on harmonies & changing in key

That scream isn't ideal and no one should be doing that type of stuff especially if your touring for long periods of time or even just in general though out your vocal life. The screams he does now are much more powerful and better. Y'all need to just stop living in the past and move on. Waking the fallen days are long gone and they are insanely better performers now

I would imagine so since it's pretty much a nice flashback to their early career for them when they were opening for bigger bands as they typically headline most festivals they play now with how big they've become. Hell they might've even asked to open for Death By Stereo rather than the other way around despite this being their 25th anniversary as a band, which is a big deal given how huge they are
They also on a smaller stage and probably reminds them of the old times. Instead of big ass stage where they are 20 yards apart and only get close for the duel guitars

I flew out from Boston for this show. It was legit one of the best experiences of my life. The energy and appreciation from the fans during this set was INCREDIBLE
Synyster Gates just did an interview where he stated that they don't plan on doing that because they don't want to be seen as a nostalgia act. Shaking my damn head right now...
I think that since it was the band's anniversary, it deserved a much bigger event, like Live in the LBC or a greatest hits tour. What a shame they aren't interested in something of that magnitude.

It is so unbelievably nice to see them ditch the terrible clothes and “style” they’ve had for like 10ish years. Syn wearing his hat, looser clothing, Johnny’s mohawk, and Zack without that God awful dyed hair. Very nice to see them return to themselves.
