Just came back from Japan. I went to the museum last week. Plushies were sold out way early so do drop by and purchase first (limited 1 item from each section per customer) before browsing the museum. Spent 3 hours there! Highly recommended!

Was the Mii on your badge generated on the spot from a photograph or did you provide them your Nintendo account so they could pull the Mii from there??
Because you need a Nintendo Account to get tickets, you can choose your Mii as your ticket ID! Your ticket is QR code they scan at the gate and it prints your badge right at the entrance

What bothers me and is truly the most disappointing thing about the museum cuz everything else is perfect is there was a missed opportunity for the restaurant to have modern reproductions of the insta rice that Nintendo used to make before they became a video game company. That would have been like even with the mediocre burgers just a chef's kiss.
