I hate how they dumb down the scene at Pleasure Island where instead of drinking beer they drink root beer and not smoke cigarettes like if pleasure island is supposed to be a bad influence for kids would it make more sense if they did do it and I know kids can't really drink beer but couldn't they CGI it make it look like beer or do what they do on tv and use water with food coloring

My theory is that they make the remakes bad, that way you would want to watch the originals, by buying DVDs, Blu-Rays, and subscribing to Disney+(but mostly subscribing to Disney+), therefore giving them more money. Unless you just pirate it.

That doesn't sound that crazy of a theory at all in retrospect. Yet I think the one who gets saved from the bunch and downright made me feel sad was Christopher Robin, as I'm mostly entering into adulthood, you know getting a job, planning life and everything, I felt deeply weird that my childhood has just passed me by like the main character Christopher Robin, that one is a very good remake from Disney that is mostly a very good sequel as well as a good example of a good remake, and that comes from a guy that never saw the original Winnie the Pooh.

The 1996 live action remake of Pinocchio starring Jonathan Taylor Thomas is actually worth watching

What did you honestly except, Modern Disney don't wanna listien to reason as long as the cash keeps rolling In and as greedy as The Coachman himself!

Between you and Saberspark, it's pretty clear that Pinocchio 2022 is just a big disappointment slash cash grab, just like most of the other Live-Action Disney movies. That's one of the many problems of Modern Disney.

Strangely enough, Polar Express and Christmas Carol CG films are a little better since they unlike this Pinocchio version, had untouched creepy moments, like the Ghost of the present bits, and Polar Express had the abandoned toys section and the protagonist on the top of the train. And by the way, is it me, or do I also think Beowulf and the other Robert Zemekis films that are CG are aging better in content than this Pinocchio remake.

The pleasure Island scene is number one let down because the donkey transformation scene is so scary in orginal movie in this one its so laughable and cheesy. That's what I hate about modern Disney they don't care about quality anymore its all about cash grabs and change so much in the movies.

    Eh, no offense-
But I didn't care for those 2D classics and their Live Action remakes anymore, so basically this Pinocchio remake being a flop's not MY problem but ANYONE else's that grew up with that lousy original they love so much lol.
And besides the TRUE Disney childhood I had back then was from being a 2000's and 90's kid from watching Pixar movies I grew up watching like Monsters Inc. and A Bug's Life as a Pixar-only to Watching TV shows from Toon Disney,Jetix, and Disney XD like Gargoyles,Super Robot Monkey Team Hyperforce Go! & TRON: Uprising and there was also the Live Action movies I grew up watching like TRON & Pirates of the Carribean who are the only Live Action movies I liked along with Jungle Cruise and nothing else, even the Non-Pixar movies like Chicken Little,The Wild,Planes, and Big Hero 6 too since those four flawed Non-Pixar movies I enjoyed were also my guilty pleasures because I had fond memories of them lol.

Christian I am not joking when I say this but there is going to be a kingdom hearts movie and it is live action and it's coming out next year.

Honest John looks like they chopped off Finnegan Fox’s head and put it on a clown’s body.

While don't Hate it as I Watch Much Worse that I might be a Sucker for Awful Adaptations,Hell I Watch Lightyear Multiple Times that Aside of it's Flaws and Problems I Enjoy it as a Guilty Pleasure of Mine that I would Rewatch it that Pinocchio 2022,all it Did was Disappointed Me and Feel Empty, but I was Expecting and Unexpecting It so It Doesn't Count with little Redeeming Qualities, I'm Sticking with the Original.

Rather watch the original animated Classic Disney Movies instead of the live action Adaptation

Rewatched the original recently, it's a charming little movie. Had sweet ol' Gapetto, coniving Honest John, and fiesty Jimini. Also Figaro is adorable. I will give the remake one thing: Honest John. Remake John is dripped out head to toe and his realistic look does a good job imo, but I'm a furry so take that for what you will.
