Great intro video for starters that gives a good overview of improving heroes. One thing I'd add is don't be too eager to sell off your normal or rare gear if it has good stats. This game gives you the opportunity to upgrade the quality of the gear in the forge - you even get to choose what version of the new gear you want. I've done a couple of pieces from normal to rare and even to epic and it helped me get through Green Dragon when I was stuck on the story. Don't do it to all your gear as you will craft or get drops that are better, but do keep those great stat pieces just in case you need them to fill a set to get through the next stage of something. Another HUGE bonus for those coming from Raid - gear swapping is free. Forgot how handy that feature is for progression - getting enough gear sorted for a team of 5 and just swapping it around to different teams for element dungeons as you progress.
But the game..doesn't...give you opportunity to upgrade gear. That system needs a full rework. We barely get any of that material to do so. By the time we get some to make common rare, we're working on epic gear. It's not really worth the concern the way it stands now. So maybe if it's adjusted. Like crunching 5 pieces of blue to make 1 epic. Or something else

One thing to tell players is if you change affinities with your main character any runes with be unequipped since it won't match the affinity you are changing. You need to remember to re-equip everytime

Yeah would be great for a beginner, but now I need a good FTP strategy/champ video's for beating the various dungeons.
