You lost your children! Raising children in abroad is not only sending them to good schools. Go and study the Asians who raised their children in Abroad. You can see the evidence yourself, the UK prime minister.

I don’t get it… how would you want to have your cake and eat it.. at the same time..the moment you choose to raise children abroad you must understand you risk losing them to a different culture.. it is the law of choice at work.. and to every choice we make there are consequences understanding that makes you enjoy your life.I don’t want to die aboard.. I don’t get that. dead people don’t even have a care.
You made a choice be accountable and enjoy your life.. accept where ever you find yourself and be a good citizen by making a good impact..case close.

This guy is absolutely 👍🏿 correct, we have lost our kids to abroad. I have been America for many years and have done very well but my kids are not too kin about moving or taking over our business back home. As a matter of fact we have adopted two boys that would manage /take over my extensive properties. This guy thinks like most of us here. Going to Nigeria is therapeutic, that’s the only place l enjoy my money

Unfortunately, you likely wont make that money in Nigeria. Its just sad that we cant live in prosperity at home. This man hit the nail on the head. Most Nigerians are living in poverty and seriously struggling. Even if there is no security abroad because of gun violence, but you can work and ewrn a living right? You people should stop polishing Nigeria, things are not working there biko.

They keep talking about money, what about the healthcare system in Nigeria. The life expectancy in 9ja is horrible. If you pass out in 9ja, ambulance can't even get to you in time, that's if there even any available. most cases of passing out ends up in death in Nigeria..its always best for people to earn their citizenship abroad before returning, that way they can get out of 9ja as fast as possible incase of civil unrest or need medical attention..

It’s not because they choose work over their families. Any little thing here, they’ll loose their job. And they have to pay their bills promptly, if not they’re charged late fees, increasing what they owe. And if one is fired from a job, it becomes a stumbling block to get another. It’s not because they choose work over their families.
Most things are bought on loan here. If you miss one payment, the late fee on it is even more than what you should have paid. If the payment is $20 and you miss it, late fee might be $38 and you’re now owing $58, which you must pay. Debts are passed to whoever inherits one’s estate when they die. Who wants to leave gbese for innocent people??
We all abuse black Americans that they don’t work. They don’t look for the big things we look for. And no one will have the opportunity not to work with all the back and leg breaking jobs that will choose it over family. Absolutely no one!!

@@iyaiya9819 I live in the US and I live by the rule called don’t buy want you can’t afford. We also want to live in the US and also want to live in Nigeria at same time which is not possible. majority of us invest more in Nigeria than we invest where we spend most of our life. America is home for me for now and if God say move back to nigeria tomorrow I will sell my stuff and move back. I rather rush to pay off my house here than to rush and build house in nigeria that spider and rats will be living.

There is 24/7 power in Nigeria. You just have to be able to afford it. I think the clincher is in making our society and systems possible for everyone. We have affordable healthcare via the HMO system. Basic primary health is really available but most are unaware of it. It cost me N3500 monthly for each employee. So let’s really put things proper perspective. We need to build proper social systems to support the vulnerable. Cause those with money can live like kings in this same Naija. Just go out on a Friday night and see.

The reality remains; the developed world is much better in everything than Nigeria. When your politicians or religious leaders sick, they travel abroad to access good medical treatments. Due to insecurity the vast majority of Nigerian elites would run to abroad for safety environment. It seems that most of the people complaining about living abroad do so to evade accountability. Yes, accountability is a key to society growth. As for Daddy Freeze, he does not have adequate knowledge about what really constitutes a descent society, thus, explains why he kind of embrace the complainers of Western World. There are many Nigerians now in their adulthood who neither traveled abroad nor lived outside Nigeria for a day, but whose lives were either destroyed by Nigerian societal and cultural influences or negatively impacted by lacks of access to basic amenities and the Nigeria systems; their behavior or total outcome in adulthood is nothing to write about, so who do you blame?
Reality checks as at today cannot support any argument that the current Nigeria is better than the United States, or any Western World.

The woman after my heart…some of us believe in Nigeria we have NGOs to help…at my foundation IDAGBA Empowerment Foundation….multi million Naira project annually…we can keep complaining or do our own part. I believe in Nigeria and nothing can stop that. Even my black American students now want to come to Nigeria cos I never stop talking about her and debunking misinformation. Americans now buy from African restaurants daily…sadly even Nigerian kids abroad don't want to eat African food that our black Americans are buying and eating. I studied Engineering and doing PhD Education now so I can bring it back to Nigeria. Renovated a block of classroom last year at Ikolaba Grammar School and this year, renovating Chemisry Lab at Wesley School of Science. Keep up the faith…public schools build me in Nigeria and I'm committed to investing in public educations. Instead of helping…we just rush to private schools. My association, Ijebu Association of USA also do projects in Ijebu Ogun State. Don't just complain…do your part.

This is a broad generalization. Experiences of some people are vastly different. I think he can only speak for himself. Circumstances of people are different based on their socioeconomic determinant and general view of the world. You are lonely because you fail to immerse yourself in the community you find yourself.
