Ines is quite masculine. I love her accent and voice as well. She has a very particular kind of voice which is rather mellifluous and gutteral. I’m not sure if that’s a Parisian accent or from where she was born (perhaps because her mother was Argentinian) but it’s rather charmante. She has a very androgynous side to her which is what Karl probably liked originally in her when she began at Chanel in the 80s. She has aged very well and has always been extremely naturally chic. I love what she says about women these days showing too much skin. It’s very true. There has been a pornographification of fashion, and it’s become very vulgar. Thanks to the Kardashians, Cardi B, all those pop stars who are really cheap and vulgar… There is way too much décolletage shown these days and everything else. They are also so immodest in the way they dance in ways which overly sexualised. I don’t see that as feminism at all, it’s actually degrading to women for women to behave that way. It’s extremely sad.

Karl was ridiculous for having fought with Ines over her becoming the face of Mariannne ! I found that incredibly unfair and childish of him. She didn’t do anything wrong and in fact, he was just jealous of the attention she was getting but he should’ve seen it as beneficial in fact for Chanel. He was so unreasonable and also so mean to have done that to her. She didn’t deserve it. Bravo Ines for having succeeded despite Karl’s temper tantrums.
