From ~ May to July the nights are bright. The brightest period, the White Nights, normally lasts from June 11 to July 2 . If the sky is not clear, it might feel like twilight only for a few hours, around 2 - 4 o’clock in the morning. It’s beautiful!
Wonderful. I was last there June 2007. I can see that the city has changed since then. Somehow, it looks more modern--more European, than 5yrs ago. I'm returning in 2013.
What do you expect. Start day fresh and strong and after filming for 12 hours , the hand gets tired, the mind weary. They should have stopped to eat some pelmeni and drink 200 grams of premium vodka , and they would have been refreshed and holding that camera .... nevermind.
Next time turn on, or get, an anti-shaking device on your camera. This film is not easy to view by no means. Something like this is worth doing right no matter the effort. .
